I have hardly put any time into reviewing this product. The only task I put into being a customer to have received this product is performing a quick disk check in MS-DOS. I did it in DOS because I want to read all the details and correct any errors if any can be found. All 5 USB Flash Drives appear to function. I even ran a bad sectors check to find any bad sectors. Everything seemed to make it. One of the reasons why I purchased this item is because of the box it arrives in. No other review of this product, ever mentions it. One of the reasons why I purchased this drive is because I like having an intelligent place to sort, organize, and store important portable data. Having a box like this, allows me to do that. If a box didn't arrive with these USB drives, than I would toss them on my desktop and lose track of them. This box on a subconscious level gives me the option to control that. If I were to say anything negative about this purchased item, is that on the orange USB Flash Drive, there is a scratch mark. Not really a problem, I only mention it because that is the task of a customer's review. Mentioning all positives and negatives. I can live with it. What's most important is the disk check found no problems with it. I know there are other disk checking environments such as Linux, but Microsoft's attempt at disk checking is good enough for now.

Have a handful of these now. Inexpensive even though they come with an LED indicator. But more importantly, they are reliable. Rock solid. An off-brand, but one that I trust now. No need to spend twice as much for a name brand.

Bought four packs of these 16GB flash drives (20 in all), and ran them all through the program H2testw* to verify their capacity and functionality. Good news is that they all passed, thus fresh out of the box all 20 of the drives I ordered seem to be working and are indeed 16GB (well, ~14.6GB once you factor in the whole 1000 vs. 1024 being used to calculate capacity issue). Of course, this doesn't speak towards the long-term durability of these drives, but as of right now anyway, they'll all working and can store the advertised capacity without any issues. Admittedly though, one of the drives did have some difficulty mounting (appearing as a usable drive) the very first time I plugged it in, but it is entirely possible this was an issue with the computer being used to test it and not the drive itself, since plugging it into a different computer showed no trouble in mounting and accessing it. *H2testw is a free program that can be used to test flash drives & memory cards to verify that they are working correctly. It is a good way to detect counterfeit flash drives/memory cards that have been unscrupulously reprogrammed to show a higher capacity than what they are actually able to hold, and also works well to detect malfunctioning or failing flash drives/memory cards.

Nice looking. I like the LED on it. Excellent value and quality at a low price point. I keep these around with various bootable OS images or installers, macos, kali, linux, bsd, inferno, plan 9, windoze, whatever. Pretty good for file transfer too.

I bought these to play music in my car. Although the description says it will work with car audio, it does not. Other flash drives work in my car, but these don't. Also don't work in a different car.
