Good drill but only lasted 4 months
I've used the drill several times and it worked great. I like Kobalt tools because of being able to use the same battery on all of their tools. However, in this case, the drill developed a bad "grinding" noise while using. Research indicates bad gear box or bearings. I've tried contacting Kobalt support by email by the email was returned as undeliverable. I have no idea what caused that yet. Occasionally, a defective tool can be purchased. This was my occasion. This will not stop me from buy or recommending Kobalt tools.

Good drill
Replaced my 4 yr old one that was overheating while drilling metal. New one is great. 4 yr opd batteries still going strong

Exceptional product with unreal battery life
I never write reviews, but this thing is an exceptional product. I've had this drill for over 5 years, have used it on probably over 100 separate occasions for various projects, and I have never charged it. Seriously, not once. It's insane, but the thing is still going strong. It almost makes me wonder if its battery is some advanced alien technology. It's super portable and strong and has tons of settings. And its battery NEVER DIES. So yeah that's my first ever product review. Good job Kobalt!

Works great
(Didn't come with battery or any other items the items in picture I've already had) But I received it today wrapped in bubble wrap and the box torn up so maybe better packaging but other then that it looks brand new and works. Maybe put in description used or refurbished. Also think it little over priced i could be wrong. But other then that it im happy with it. Thanks

Do not buy! Not a hammer drill!
By far the worst drill ever! Not a hammer drill as described and even as a regular drill it does not work properly. Very weak peace of crap waste of money.
