Daft question but does 20mm cutting height mean it cuts grass to the shortest possible with machine (60mm means the longest grass possible)?

Like all settings it depends on how level your ground is. So try an area not the most conspicuous at the highest cut level and check the results. Until you achieve your desired results. Unfortunately experimenting is needed

Border edge. Will this work with just edged grass then soil ?

Hi - it's not great on borders fulls stop. I am buying a small mower for the edges - it leaves a 3-4 inch strip. You can make it do spot mowing for that gets the edges probably within 2 inches of the border but it's quite a faff.

How often do the blades need replacing and do Amazon sell them ?

No not from Amazon, type in google the make and order online. Blades last depending on use not changed mine yet.

Where can you buy an additional battery

You can buy a spare battery (as well as cutting blades) from the manufacturer. Just look online. They seem a very well organised company and I ordered spare battery and blades and they were sent immediately - and at reasonable cost.
