Why does my joystick have strange resistance or some abnormal noise?

This may be because the non-integrated caps became loose during transportation. It can usually be repaired by pressing down vertically with a little force on the center of the joystick cap.

Why are the joysticks slightly uncentered in the joystick calibration page?

The ALPS joystick used by SD has an accuracy of ±5 degrees in the center, GuliKit joystick has an ±3 degrees. Therefore under no dead zone, the joystick may not return to the center exactly each time. It’s normal and will not affect the experience.

What should I pay attention to before installation?

1) Remove your SD card. 2) Confirm that your joystick model is Type A or Type B, and switch the type on the board buttons first. 3) It is best to find relevant video and follow them step by step. 4) Don’t hurt yourself when using tools.
