We really like these compostable waste bags. They are durable and fit our 2.0 gallon compost bin. The bags have some give, so they hold up well when over-stuffed. Good value for the money. They are easy to insert and to remove. Hope they are as biodegradable as they say they are. We never get to witness this part. I've bought these bags more than five times now, so that says something. We also use them in our rental unit and guests like them.

Our kitchen waste collection only allows 100% compostable bags. These our great, no leakage and just the right size.

These bags are not flimsy - they are thick and strong, holding a lot of vegetable and fruit scraps.

These are stronger than the other brand I’ve tried, grefusion, so I’m happy I made the switch. We’re a small household but cook a lot, live in a city/apartment, so I’m also happy with how long this batch lasted us. They’re not indestructible, i’ve definitely taken them to the brink and ripped a couple from over stuffing, but they are strong enough for daily output.

These bags are perfect for my counter top composting bin. The handles keep them from sliding down when I put stuff into the bin. And they are heavy enough to last until I can deliver the compost to the dump.

I've bought several brands to have the bags just falling apart if you don't use them within 4-6 months. This brand? I've had a box for 2 years- still strong as plastic or stronger. THE best. Will always buy this brand

I live in California and we don't get plastic bags from stores anymore but I needed something to put used cat litter in. These bags are the perfect size. And since they are compostable I don't feel guilty using them. Would highly recommend.

I use these bags to collect my kitchen/ food scraps bound for my at home compost pile. I would not recommend using it this way- I think the best use for these bags would be recycling or in the bathroom to collect paper towels (any use where the bags will come into contact with very little moisture- more on this in a minute). The size is generous and it is easy to tear new bags off the roll and open them. Here’s my complaint and the reason for 3 stars: They seem thick enough and yet you have 48 hours to get the bag into your compost pile before the moisture of your food scraps starts to degrade the integrity of the bag and holes develop. It is certainly compostable and that is great but because the bags break down so easily i barely get to fill them before I have to lug them to the compost pile and that means my compost ends up with more bags in it than actual compost which is a real waste. But the alternative is scrubbing my compost bucket and disinfecting it every few days and if I had wanted to do that I would not have bought a liner. The redundancy makes me sad. The worst part is that you have to really get your compost pile soaking wet often to make the bags dissolve fully. Overall a solidly good bag but only if your trash is moisture free or you don’t mind the extra mental load of remembering to constantly take your compost out.
