Excellent Sound and Impressive Quality!
I recently got my hands on the JBL Reflect Aero True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds, and they have quickly become my go-to pair for everything from workouts to work calls. Here’s why they stand out:Sound Quality: The sound is exceptional, with deep bass and clear mids and highs. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio is crisp and immersive. JBL never disappoints when it comes to delivering great sound.Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature is a game-changer, especially in noisy environments. It effectively blocks out background noise, allowing me to focus on my music or calls without distractions. The ANC is adjustable, which is a nice touch for when you want to be aware of your surroundings.Call Quality: With 6 built-in mics and VoiceAware technology, call quality is top-notch. The person on the other end hears me clearly, even in windy or noisy conditions. I appreciate the clarity and consistency of the calls, which is essential for work.Fit and Comfort: The earbuds are designed with a secure fit in mind, and they stay in place even during intense workouts. They come with multiple ear tip sizes, so it’s easy to find the perfect fit. They’re also comfortable to wear for extended periods, which is a big plus.Battery Life: The battery life is impressive, with hours of playback time even with ANC turned on. The charging case provides additional charges, making it easy to keep them powered up on the go.Design: The sleek and modern design looks great, and the build quality feels premium. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to adjust settings or skip tracks without pulling out my phone. Conclusion: Overall, the JBL Reflect Aero True Wireless Earbuds are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for high-quality sound, effective noise cancellation, and reliable call performance. They’re perfect for both everyday use and more demanding activities. Highly recommend!

Save your money and your frustration
I recommend you DO NOT BUY these earbuds. If you're like me, you look at the features and the price and think, "Hmmm... maybe this is a good value." I advise you to think again.Buying these earbuds is tantamount to buying a little box of frustration. They just are NOT ready for prime time. I will concede that the sound quality is good -- better than my AirPods -- but what good does that do when you can NEVER get them to work correctly? Nothing goes smoothly. I am constantly beset with issues. Here are some of the chronic ones:1. They don't always charge in the case because they don't line up. If you attach the little rubber "wings" those will interfere with charging, too. When you go to use them, you then realize they weren't charging and they are now non-functional.2. They don't reliably connect to bluetooth. Even when they show as connected, the music often doesn't come out of the right one.3. They fall out. No matter what you do, they fall out!4. They are never, ever comfortable in my ears. My ear canals are irritated from them.5. The "ear fit" process does not work. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it to say I had a good fit, using all different sizes of ear cushions. NEVER did I get it to say I had a good fit. What a bummer to buy a brand new product, and have it march you over and over through an unsuccessful process of fitting to your ears. Right out of the box you feel like you have something defective in your hands, or you have defective ears.6. Pairing and restarting is not intuitive at all. When I am in the JBL app and I click the link for how to restart, it doesn't bring me to instructions for restart. Instead it brings me to the entire 44-page microscopic-font "quick setup" guide. Basically it says "Here, figure it out yourself." Then it attempts (unsuccessfully) to communicate with pictures and icons. Useless.7. Software update is flaky. It took me half a dozen attempts to update before it worked. Constantly lost bluetooth connection in the process.8. Chat with tech support was unhelpful. They just emailed me a list of things to try. They were apologetic but unable to help.I write this now, having actually gotten the headphones to work correctly, after 45 minutes to an hour of work. Screw these earbuds. JBL just offered me 35% off of buying something else from their store, but I'll never buy another JBL product after my experience with these. My Airpods have literally worked 100% of the time with zero issues. Never even had to think about charging, or software updates. To use these JBL Reflect Aeros you need to be a damn system administrator.

Difficult to Setup
I have had the product for less than three hours. So far, I've had a 40 minute chat support that did not result in the earbuds passing the second step of setup, getting the right seal. While I managed to pair the earbuds with my iPad, I am thus far unable to pair them with my MacBook. The iPad app told me that the seal in the ear was not good, but provided no instruction on how to fix the problem. Should I use the larger or smaller provided rubber things? There are no markings on the earbuds that indicate left versus right ear that I am able to find. But apparently it is important to know which is officially which because controls are on the side. It took repeated questioning in the chat to finally be told the one that sits in the left side of the case is the left item. After ending the chat and struggling to get past the size setup, I failed to move beyond step three. The app kept saying be in a noisy place with no instructions or feedback on how to find a noisy place. The FAQs within the app provides no guidance on how to actually control the volume. Either the default volume is much to high, or I've managed to maximize it.The provided user manual is a picture book with fewer details than an Ikea piece of furniture.I have been unable to find official videos to resolve any of my questions. I am entirely dependent upon finding videos from independent resources about various topics and often having to hope that similar JBL products function the same way.I will say using the iPad app installing a software update onto the earbuds was easy. The app provided good information about the estimated time to install and then the time remaining. This is why I gave two stars rather than one.In short, unless you are a millennial, I would not recommend this product.I am unable to actually review the capabilities of the product. Until I can figure out how to control the volume, it is worthless. I have not attempted to use the product to conduct a phone call, listen to a podcast, exercise or swim, or any of the other basic functions I had hoped for. I am also unable to provide star ratings for noise cancellation, sound quality, and battery life.

Battery death after a year
I only keep buying these because I'm lazy. 4th pair - all end in same way. Great sound and battery life initially up until about a year. Battery life drops off drastically at about a year to year and a half. And that doesn’t mean they just slowly drain. One or both earbuds last about a minute. That's it. On the good end, JBL did replace the one set that did end before a year through a warranty claim. The other three... at least one earbud dead. Outside that destiny... good sound.

The JBL earbuds stay in your ears when running
First, I bought the Bose, but the first pair's left ear soon died. Send them back and reordered them. The second pair developed the same problem. Sound quality and noise cancellation were superb. Next, I bought the new Sony earbuds which had a great conversation feature--if you talk, they shut down for a bit. The sound quality was almost up to the Bose, but they would not stay in my ears while I sat at my desk. I changed earbuds and bought silicone ones, but they still fell out too easily. Finally, after reading tech recommendations in the NY Times, I bought the JBL earbuds, which didn't have the sound quality or the intense noise cancellation of the Bose or Sony but stayed in my ears while I ran. If Bose gets their act together, those are great. If you plan to use your earbuds during exercise, the JBLs are the best.

Don't buy these if you want long lasting earbuds
I've owned these earbuds for 2 years now and they no longer hold charge. The left one doesn't work at all and the right one loses charge within an hour. They were great when I first used them, but stopped working after about a year of semi regular use. Also as someone else had mentioned they were constantly connecting to my phone while in the charging case. If you are a runner and looking for a nice wireless earbud, I suggest looking elsewhere as well, I was really hoping these would be perfect for running but if you move your jaw much at all they're going to need readjusting.

Couldn't find the right fit, but great if they work for you.
You'd think that with 3 different sizes of caps & wings, you'd easily find a fit that works, and while I found a comfortable combination with the left ear very quickly, I just couldn't find anything that made the right earbud stay in. I've never had this problem before, but the middle size cap was too large while the small was too smal, and all the wings seemed to be actively pushing the earbud away from my ear. It would actually fall out of my ear onto the floor when I smiled or spoke. Maybe I got a defective pair? I have no idea how this could happen, since the left earbud fit absolutely perfectly and stayed in place even when I tried to shake it out.If you can get them to fit, they're great. The sound was good out of the box, a little crisp for my taste but easily adjusted with the JBL app. Pairing with two devices is a great feature and was straightforward once I figured out the instructions - they were IKEA-style instructions with just images instead of words, which was annoying at first. Noise cancellation was excellent without any of the oppressive white noise you can sometimes get. The hear-through mode worked really well but had way too much high end, making everything sound fake and grating. Audio performance was equal to the Beats Fit Pro, which are the same in-ear wing style but almost twice the price. The plastic felt a little cheap and the touch buttons would still activate when they were in my hand. I wish the caps had been made of a different material, which might have made them stay in my ear better, but it was a smooth comfortable silicone the didn't feel like it'd tear easily.A good value and I recommend giving them a shot before springing for something more expensive - I'd have happily kept them if they'd just stayed in my ears!

Fit Better Than NMost Ear Buds For Me
I was actually a little concerned about fit since I have had little luck with past ear buds and considering the price, reasonably so. I found thought that the fit was the best I had ever had with ear buds! One drawback is the price. They don't come cheap. So was the high price worth it? Well, I found the sound to be better than most of the ear buds I have tried. That was a plus. As for the ambient sound vs noise reduction, there is a HUGE difference compared to the others! I was drving a loud noisy diesel truck and it had no bluetooth. Of course, even if it did, I probably wouldn't be able to hear it over the diesel noise that is so prevalent. The JBL Aeros overcame the noise with no problem.I mentioned fitment. I have trouble getting ear buds to stay in my ear. And since these are waterproof, I was planning on using them at my complex swimming pool so retention was critical. It took me a little effort to figure out how to get them to fit my ear properly. But once I did, they stayed unlike the others. They also have 3 different cups to fit various ear sizes. Those plusses made them worth it to me. The reason I didn't give them 4 stars is the price. They are head and shoulders above the prices of any I have so far looked at. In fact, on average I would dare say double that of most ear buds. For me they were worth it. Others maybe not so much.

After six months battery draining at 30% per hour .
Yep. My advise . Skip this ear buds , sound quality okay . The trouble started when battery started draining 30% plus percentage per hour . Figure that out . That’s less than three hours . For only music . Every other function off . In very quiet surroundingsUpdate as of 29th July .Left ear bud battery drainedto almost zero within an hourSecond update : 30 July 2024. Left earbud has died completelyUpdate : 28th August 2024. Right ear bud almost close to failing . Only twenty minutes before drained fully from full charge .I think I got a defective product from JBL . Right from the beginning . Only had maximum about four hours plus of power from full charge just listening to music while running in quiet conditions . And it’s almost worthless now. Only six months of use .

Better than air pods
Use them for everything, they never fall out or get out of place. I use them at work for as long as 10 hours without having to charge. Better than air pods

Disappointing Durability - Right Earbud Failed After 1 Year
I purchased these earbuds in February 2024 and was initially very pleased with their performance. The sound quality was solid and they worked perfectly. However, the honeymoon phase only lasted about six months. I started noticing that the right earbud's battery life was getting significantly shorter than the left one. The problem has gotten progressively worse, and now, the right earbud won't charge past 15%. This gives me a maximum of 10 minutes of listening time before it shuts itself off, making the pair essentially unusable. While they were excellent at the start, a lifespan of only one year is unacceptable for the price. Be aware of this potential battery issue before you decide to purchase.
