Each one gives you (almost) immediate gratification, since you don't have to wait for them to age. And it gave me a way to explore the subtle differences between the types, my favorite so far is the goat cheese. I like the recipes for each type of cheese, it was fun to plan a meal starring my creations. Lots of fun. I think it would make a good gift for anyone who likes to cook. Review: Pricey for what is in the box - Wasn't a very good value for what you received. The printed off recipes were nice, as was the little thermometer. The cheese molds and small piece of muslin weren't much help with this kit. The salt and citric acid were in non-sealable cellophane and it included only 2 rennet tablets. Basically a starter kit to see if you may want to try making cheese. Might make a good gift for the DIYer in your life.
