Can you wear boots with these?

Actually fairly snug around the calves

Do these shrink when washed? I ordered my normal size but they are oddly large and especially in the crotch are, almost like they are backwards.

I wear them even thought I am a woman, because they are roomy in the crotch area. I am long wasted and most women's pants are too tight in that area. They do not shirnk unless you dry them on high for a long time. If i don't want them to shrink I air dry them.

Are these good enough for heavy duty construction work?

Depends on how to treat them. They're not as rugged as say Dickies or Carhart but I wear them for work and I run heavy equipment.

I thought wrangler jeans had the W sticthing on the back pockets? What is this :)

These just have a horizontal stitch line on both pockets across the middle. They're about 5" wide x 5" deep
