Texas Pete Green Pepper Hot Sauce, 4.5 Ounce (2 Bottles)

If you're familiar with Steak n Shake's pepper sauce, this is the exact same flavor. Nothing better on chili mac! My only complaint is that, there's not a lot in the bottle. You can reuse it by adding white vinegar and water when the original runs out. But you'll want a few bottles because you have to steep the new vinegar for at least a few weeks to get the best flavor.BTW, Amy's Vegan Chili and spaghetti noodles make a delicious chili mac. And this sauce makes the dish absolutely perfect!I only use this on chili mac. I'd love to hear what others use it on.

Good stuff, spiced just right

I put these on my collard greens and I couldn’t be happier.

This pepper sauce is the closest to how my grandmother made hers. It has a little kick not too spicy.

Taste great on collards, turnips and kale. Very slight heat. Vinegary flavor.

One bottle came broken. Other one is fine and delicious. Just wish I knew they didn't offer replacements before I bought it.

I had no idea that this was what I have been searching for my entire life, it's more than just a hot sauce and thank god it's legal and they don't drug test for it. I used half the bottle on my first encounter, so delicious! I was in a state of ecstasy. I just put a little on a plain piece of chicken breast to test it out (as I had just received an order with 6 other hot sauces (Marie Sharps, Texas Pete original) and was doing my testing) and it was by far the tastiest seasoning out of the bunch, and I love hot sauce. I usually buy some variety of Marie Sharp's from Belize, which is very tasty as well and my previous go to, but I now have a new love (heart emoji here). Anyway, needless to say I ate the rest of my chicken with just the Texas Pete Green Pepper Hot Sauce, which is really more of a seasoned vinegar, but it doesn't taste of vinegar! It was well balanced. I was surprised because it just looks like some vinegar with green peppers, but it tastes of pure deliciousness. I am already planning on ordering more as a little 2.5oz bottle won't last me long. Thankfully I live alone so no one will be trying to hone in on any of my stash of this stuff, because it is addictive. You have been warned!

Away top notch pepper sauce. Slap it in yer greens. It’s awesome!
