Bought one awhile ago, doesn't load my ruger mk iv 22/45 mags anymore like it should. tried oiling ammo+bearing, tightening/loosening, nothing works.
Does this work with the smith and Wesson victory 22 long rifle and if it does which one is it?
Will it work on the Mark 1?
Will this work on a Sig Sauer 522lr magazine?

Save your thumbs and your time

WOW! This thing is absolutely fantastic. Throw a box of 22 in the hopper and shake it up. Stick in a mag and tilt to fill. It's that easy.Out of the box, it would only load 9 rounds. That's ok for you Mark I guys, but I got a Mark IV. I backed the adjustment screw out 2 full turns and now it loads 10 rounds, every time. The only con I can find is that occasionally a rogue round will get past the gate that holds them in line. The round will fall out when you take out the mag. All in all, it's just not enough of a thing to actually complain about it, and I think it may go away once I develop a better rhythm. This thing is that great. The only other POSSIBLE issue I can find is that the kind of plastic it is made of may break after a drop or two onto a hard surface. I like this thing too much to test it out in a drop test ;)I recommend this mag loader and hope that McFadden makes them for other calibers. I can literally load 100 rounds in than 1.5 minutes including filling the hopper and at an easy pace. With practice, I bet I can get faster.Bench and Range Update:I put around 2000 rounds of Federal though it. Once it gets waxed-up, after about 300 rounds, it doesn't load as quick as it does new out of the box. At this point, you'll need to bump the mag to get it to load; guesstimating, I only need to bump the mag 2 or 3 times to fully load. A cleaning and very light oil will fix that, but it will wax up again. The hopper will hold about 100 rounds and it still works, but 50 works better. It's easier to feed the load ramp with less than 100, maybe around 80. I usually buy bulk ammo in boxes of 325 or 500. Three handfuls into the hopper is what worked best for me.I used 8 new Ruger Mark III/IV factory mags. I did notice that my stainless mags load easier than my blued mags. This is definitely an issue with the mags and not the charger. Cycle your mags several times before using in the charger or your pistol. They do need a little bit of a break-in.I'm 99% sure I have it adjusted correctly but still have the occasional round slip by the gate, but I don't care. This thing is still awesome and I don't see it just sitting on a shelf collecting dust anytime soon, unless I'm not shooting. The McFadden Ultimate Clip Loader, shouldn't it be a magazine loader, has a permanent place in my range bag.

Time Machine. buy it now.

Absolutely outstanding. I cannot say enough great things about this product. Just buy it. Buy 2.Recently picked up a ruger mark IV hunter and set it up with a vortex venom reflex sight on a tandemkross shadow rail and then popped in the Volquartsen accurizing kit and trigger. Bought about 8 mags too. Amazing gun, stupid accurate, and a whole bunch of fun, but my thumbs were destroyed after running through about 500rds on day 1. Enter this device. It works exactly like the videos. Some ammo, like the winchester copper plated 36gr hollow point that comes in the 333 rd box will hang up just a little- and instead of the rounds just falling in there is a little shaking and tilting to do. Still an order of magnitude faster than using a hand speed loader and putting the bullets in one by one. Most ammo though, including remington thunderbolt, federal auto match, and even rem golden bullet- all work perfectly. Drops right in the mags. You can load 8 mags in maybe 20 seconds. Its amazing. A time machine. The only downside is lost cost savings when you blow through 1000rds of .22lr effortlessly in a couple of hours at the range. This product completely changes the user experience of these pistols- buy it now!

Works perfectly on Browning Buckmark brand magazines!

Like magic. This loader is amazing and works perfectly. I was so happy with it that I was excited to write this review. I have two Browning Buckmark pistols and 6 Browning magazines. I want everyone to know that this speed loader works great with the Browning Buckmark. I read many of the reviews before purchasing it and a lot of them don't even say what type of gun they are using it successfully with. Which doesn't help anyone. If it doesn't fill your magazine all the way up there is a fix. The end where you insert the magazine has an adjustable screw which holds back the spring of the magazine when you insert it. Read the instructions which are included. Just screw the screw out a little bit more so it pushes the spring of the magazine all the way to the bottom and it will fill your magazine all the way. The people that have had problems need to read the instructions. I can't say how it works on other brands of magazines, but on Browning Buckmark magazines it works perfectly and it's fun.

Time and thumb saver. Takes a few adjustments & little practice

Time saver and decent quality. Takes a moment to get used to it and takes a little adjusting for the magazine to fit correctly. Only complaint is more with the ammo and how it fits. .22lr isn’t the best quality when it comes to the manufacturers and consistent bullet shape. I’ve noticed the 22lr ammo more than any other caliber is unevenly shaped which causes it to get stuck whenever sliding into the magazines. I don’t believe it’s the design of the fast loader but the ammos shape that causes it to get stuck sometimes. Shaking or tapping it at an angle can sometimes fix it but other times you have to remove the mag and either load the one bullet or take it out cause it’s bent and deformed. Other than that my thumbs are happy and my time at the range is much more enjoyable. It’s very helpful since I rent out an entire bay and am limited to two hour blocks. I hated wasting time loading one bullet and seeing the clock run out
