The quality is impressive. **Q: What is the length of the basket including the clip without the handle?** A: The entire length from end to end including the handle attachment clip is 13.25 inches. **Q: Are these dishwasher safe?** A: Based on the quality I would say definitely, but I prefer to wash by hand so I haven’t tried. For a cooking aid like these I like to leave them clean but still retain some of the seasoning to help future cleaning. I do apply some vegetable oil before cooking so that helps also. **Q: Is storage bag included?** A: As of now we do not have and kabob grill basket sets that include a bag. Good opening statement. So I am attracted to gadgets, but especially gadgets that make me look cool in the backyard BBQ. The family loves shish kabobs, and I have always used the bamboo sticks only to have slivers of lumber carve my fingers up as I put the meat and veggies on. And yes, I soak them, but I'm accident prone. So I saw these and said, "Hey: Gadget, BBQ, Cool". I usually don't speak in complete sentences to myself. I purchased them and tried them out immediately. I put them on my smoker; I should have put them on the Kamado instead. They tasted fine, were easy to assemble, easy to turn (big improvement over the bamboo sticks) and produced a quality meal. However, clean up was a bit hard with steak and chicken adhering to the metal recesses and crannies. Had to use a small steel brush to get the hard to reach areas. On more however; I would recommend this product. It is leaps and bounds (what a weird saying: leaps and bounds, I wonder where that comes from?) But I digress. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is, they can come open as you flip if you are not careful. Be sure to squeeze the ends so they slip in and then split one side to the left and the other side to the right, under the hinge; otherwise, you begin to flip and it opens. Another Tip: don't cut too small or the veggie will slip through the hole.
