A: I don't have the measurements,;  my granddaughter age 11 has the game and is beating us adults that don't know much.  the pieces are big like the little kid Legos sorta...nice size

Husband and 9 yr old son love this set! They are learning how to play chess! They loved the cards that explained each type of piece, how it could move, what it could and could not do. Those were very helpful. The other cards were not bad, but not as helpful to them. Would definitely recommend to someone who has never played before!
