Fantastic!
These ankle weights are an incredible find for the price. I just broke one of the buckles on my other pair which is also 10 lbs and needed a replacement but most of them are at least triple the price. The material feels a little cheap and they feel lighter than my other pair. I have not weighed them to compare, but I didn’t feel the burn with these after my exercises that I normally feel. The weighted bags are in open pockets, this makes it really easy to adjust the weight, but also means they can slip out when doing floor exercises. The strap is big and really comfortable, I typically wear long socks and did not feel any discomfort, even when moving around. They stayed on my feet through 30 minutes of leg/glute exercises and 20 minutes of walking. I tested with jumping jacks and they stayed in place, the strap stayed on, and they did not hurt my legs.

Pros and cons of a great product.
I will start with the pros. The 10 lb. black weights are awesome. You will definitely be getting a good workout using them. -You can use them for general walking with extra weight on your person. -If you’re walking, they are great for lunges and high knees and butt kicks. -They are easy to put on and take off. -They work great for wrists, too, maybe even better. -The material/construction appears solid, after a couple of walks around the block, no issues. -They could possibly be converted into something worn on the torso, but I haven’t explored that yet. The Velcro gives one ideas. I gave them a trial run walking around the block. Not the best decision but I learned the pros and now for the few cons: -Since they are 10 pounds, which is heavy for wearable weights, they will sometimes bump against each other when walking. -The weights WILL rub against the Achilles tendon behind your ankle. I got a busted blister On one ankle and tenderness on the other while wearing them. I recommend Taking short distances while wearing thick socks under the weights. I changed into crew socks from ankle socks but the damage was done. -Related to the previous note, the material is durable and hard so it is not gentle on the skin. -The weights are a little bulky so be ready for the way they look when you wear them. Think inflatable armbands. Overall, they are what I was looking for and I have zero regrets buying them.

Recommend for PT useage
For the price these are the way to go. The sandbags remove easily but dont fall out when in use. I was concerned with them coming out but haven't had an issue over the past few weeks I've had them. I had a major work accident 7 months ago and my leg is soo skinny so I cant use all the weights and remove 2-3 and it tightens around that leg and doesnt really move. I find at PT all of these weights move a little. Just wear thick socks. As for them falling apart. I looked at the stitching and it did make me nervous but so far nothing has broken or given me any reason to believe it will after continued use. For somebody doing light PT exercises at home this is a good deal and helpful.

too tall + too bulky + too shifty
These work. But if i had wanted to strap water bottles onto my legs, I would have done that & not paid $19 for these scratchy cheap HUGE ankle weights. These are: - Filled with sand (i wish it was solid concrete, which takes up less space) - TOO Bulky -- I noticed less range of motion during exercises - TOO TALL 8.25” (slightly taller than a standard 16.9oz waterbottle) — Maybe this height is fine for men? But I am 5’10” female & they went almost halfway up my leg & kept slipping while I exercised. I also wasn't sure if they were working the intended muscles since they go so far up the leg. - straps are so flimsy (actually makes it difficult to strap them on — the strap flies everywhere!) -10 lb each (divided into 5 pieces) -Shift constantly -- I strapped them on as tight as possible. But they still shift around so much it feels like they will fall off. I use only 8 pounds per leg (i take one of the weights out of each so it has 4 instead of 5), but I have not had this issue happen with other ankle weights. So instead I just re-purchased some old ankle weights that I used to own (by Amazon Basics). I recommend the Amazon Basics ones, they are: - 10lb each (divided into 5 pieces) - SOLID concrete (5 pieces of solid concrete) - allows greater range of motion (since they are smaller volume with the same weight). - good height (6” tall) - The weight is actually concentrated around the ankles, where it is supposed to be. - Does not shift constantly & does not feel like it will fall off, even if you take out some of the weights.

does what it claims to do, even though it might be more simple than other more fancy options. good quality
