Perfect for a mini tree!

This is a beautiful little star, but I honestly can't believe the cost of these little stars for what it is. I think they are worth like $3.00 max. Mine arrived defective with scratches and glitter missing, but a replacement is on the way. I didn't think it would stay on the top of my little tree because it doesn't have a wide opening for the tree top to go into. I had to push it in and pricked myself with little pines until I got it on completely. If you don't push it down enough, it will fall to the side. For the cost, I expect it to be inspected upon shipping. I'm not paying more than a few bucks for a defective star, so if my replacement is defective too, I will be sending it back. It's a nice size star for my tree that is about 20 inches tall.

Perfect look and weight for a small tree topper!

Finally a topper that fits and stays on the tree! Even when I was a kid, no topper ever worked with our tree. Didn't matter if it was real or fake. They either had too big of an opening or they were too top heavy once on the tree. And this continued once I moved out on my own. I did once have one that I jury rigged with two pipe cleaners and I managed to use it for several years until it broke. Since then, my quest continued, with me buying 2-3 toppers every year and winding up having to settle for something that just plain wasn't right. Most wouldn't even stay on the tree and one even threatened to topple the tree over. It was that heavy! Currently we have a 7 foot tall fake tree and an 8 foot ceiling. So the one topper I have that might stay on the tree is far too tall for the combination of our tree and our ceiling. But this is perfect! And even though it is mini, it still looks great on the tree. Just perfect!

Pretty good product. I thought there would be a hole in the bottom, but there isn't. I just cut a hole out and it works fine. I have a 17" tree and it's awkwardly big on it, so i suggest using for a 24" tree to a 4ft tree. It's worth $5, if you just want a tree topper and don't care about it being perfect.

Love my little start for my 3-foot Christmas tree. It doesn't light up, but looks great.
