**Q: What gauge wire is this cord? I need 14 awg or larger.**

**Q: why Does this plug run when I plugin outlet without switch on ?**
A: There is a red light that is lit when power is active through the GFCI.  If you are saying that there is power to the outlet even though the switch to the outlet is “off”, then there is something wrong with your switch. If you are saying that there is still power even though the GFCI has been tripped, then something is wrong with the GFCI. Either way, you have power at the end of the circuit that you aren’t expecting. I would suggest having an electrician look at it.

**Q: How many Amps?**
A: The 110 Volt GFCI for Boat Lift Motor is compatible with all boat hoist motors. The 110 Volt ground fault circuit interrupter features a GFCI in-line

**Q: my current one is 125VAC 60hz and 15A  will this one work, is it comparable?**
A: I have mine on a boat lift 120 volt workes great for me
