60W Grow Light for Indoor Plants

I haven’t quite settled on a setup for my houseplants but I needed a grow light in the meantime. I knew Sansi was a reputable brand, and when this light went on sale for around $12 I decided to at least give it a try until I figure out exactly what I need. I’ve had it going for about 2 months and since then my peace lily is blooming for the first time, and my pink princess philodendron is pushing out it’s 3rd new leaf. I already had an electrical hanging cord from a rice paper shade/light and it works perfectly, although not very aesthetically pleasing, but it gets the job done. The quality of the leds is great, very very bright! As others have mentioned, it does tend to get warm so just use some caution around it. For the price point and evidence of growth, me and my plants are extremely satisfied! I will be purchasing more Sansi lights once I have the plants settled into their permanent spot.

Using this light on top of a grow rack with orchids and carnivorous plants in an East facing window. They get plenty of morning sun but this supplements the light after the sun rises. I’m successfully growing these plants, some of which are quite light hungry without any signs of burn so far. I mounted it on a terrarium light stand and had to zip tie the stand to the wire rack since the light would otherwise topple the stand. It does produce some heat and could burn you if you tried to touch the heat sinks on top of the light for too long but the heat produced under the light is perfectly reasonable and with a little air movement it’s no issue for the plants. The build quality of the light is outstanding considering the cost of the light. This is the 60W version and I like it so much I ordered the 30W for another area that needs slightly less light.

This grow bulb is a fantastic value for the price! I have several in place and my plants thrive under them. Not aesthetically appealing but very functional.

Gets a little hot but with no cooling fans that’s expected, nice and bright and the plants love the extra light

This is my second Sansi light where one panel burned out after less than a year (finally getting around to writing reviews - the other light was the 4 paddle model). I loved this lights for the first 6 or 7 months I had it. It’s bright and my plants seemed to like it. At that point the only downside was that it gets HOT. Not a big deal. Then one paddle burned out. For the price I had hoped to get at least a full year of use out of it. It’s also not like there’s an option to replace a bulb. Bummer.

Very strong, and affordable. Love it!

They are extremely bright. Low wattage, easy on the electric bill. The top of it gives off a lot of heat. Screws into a standard light socket. I'm using it in the garage as a winter light source for some of my patio plants, on a timer.

Llego sin prender no pude ni ver su función. Cuidado no tiene algún modo de control de luces ni nada para mí no es funcional. Y Peor aún ni funciona…!!
