I was worried at first, because when I first tested them, they did leak, however, I realized the gaskets weren't on tight enough. You have to use a ton of arm strength to get the gaskets screwed on there nice and tight (since both pieces are made of silicon type material, you have to hold them really tight). There should be no room between the edges and the two gaskets (twist and hold the part that it's twisting onto...otherwise you wont make any progress without realizing it).I will also say that the spouts are hard to open, one handed, and do feel a bit flimsy and thus fragile, they are silver plastic, not metal. I could see them getting broken easily, so I'm taking off a star. But really, for the price point, I was very happy with them.
