My child loves being able to make different things. This was an excellent way to help teach shapes as well as other activities. It was nice being able to make a game out of it to keep their attention.

The items in this kit allow your student to get a hands on experience. It has a great variety of sturdy materials. The only thing I wish was improved was the storage case, cardboard is t as sturdy as a plastic container but that’s an easy swap to make at home.

This is a great way to get your kids to learn their geometry. I have a first grader and second grader. This is perfect for both of them. I love anything that can build their skills especially with math and geometry. This is wonderful. I was hesitant when I first opened it but once we took everything out and went through all the included items I was pretty impressed. I feel that this helps my girls to learn math skills from symmetry to 2-D and 3-D shapes and well you get the idea. I love the matching cards. Easy for kids to learn the shapes and put together. Very nice heavy board. There is plastic tray with pegs (Geo Board) and many rubber bands to learn how to build shapes on. A great way to get your kids to do the shapes but make it fun as well. You get work sheets, shapes, and so much more. Really this is a great way to teach your kids without it being a 'chore' in my opinion. My kids are 6 and 8 and they both are doing very well using the kit. Great gift to give that may not seem that it would be exciting but its building a foundation any child can use!

This game has a lot of different options. What’s nice is that you can work on geometry but there are different ways to approach it and practice. You can also make more complicated or easy lessons, depending on the child’s level of need. One of my favorite activities to do with my kids was the rubber band shapes. It’s a great way to practice making your own shapes. What I like is that it’s actually muscle memory. They get to use the rubber band and create the shapes around the pegs. The rubber bands have plenty of flex too so it’s very user-friendly for small hands. There are also cards with shapes as well as thick plastic shapes in various sizes. In addition to the manipulatives, there are workbook pages that cover geometry concepts. The pages are small and double sided. They could be laminated or just used one time like they are. Overall, I find this to be a very good kit to practice ones shapes. The different ways to practice them I think not only keeps it fresh and interesting, but it also works with different learning types. With the help of this kit, shapes can be mastered.
