excellent transformer
Use these with LED tape light on the regular at our job sites. wish they were thinner and longer like others but we still hide them and appreciate how easy they are to hook up, run virtually silently, and are reliable.

Do your math and order the right size.
Hit light products get the job done, super smooth dimming, no humming, no overheating. Great product

Dimmable Transformer
Great power controller that works with Lutron dimmable systems.

Failed after less than 90 days
Easy to install, worked great for ~2.5 months, but just failed this evening. The Hitlight LED strips I had this driver attached too suddenly went "out" and got very dim and are flickering. When I turn it off and back on there is a brief flash and them back to very dim flickering. The driver appears to have failed less than 90 days from installation which is very disappointing considering the cost of this driver.

Flickers at very low levels
I bought other power supplies at a lower wattage for other areas and they don't flicker. This one will flicker if you are down to maybe 2%, which I need when I set my LED lights to very low as a nightlight past 11pm. Overall, it's a good unit. Offers lots of power and does not get hot like the other transformers. Easy to connect 120V and 12V, but no instructions on how to lift the cover. You'll need a butter knife.

If you have to have the bright LED strip light, this is about the only choice you have.
I needed the powerful power supply to light the double row LED strip to light the entire room almost. So I had to get this driver. Only problem is that this driver hums and buzzes. It sounds like piezo characteristics of ceramic caps used in the device. I wish they didn't use the class II type ceramic caps; they always buzz. And the MTBF for the component is not that great either. They lose the insulation resistance due to DC aging after five years. I am thinking about opening up the driver and replace all the caps with the film caps. They should have thought about the buzzing at $200, they need to do a better job designing the power supply. Stop using ceramic caps.

It works like it is supposed to.
I bought this to power and LED strip light I used when remodeling our guest bath. I needed dimmable and this did the trick. Everything was pretty straight forward and it seems to dim very smoothly. It has been in use about three months now, but it is in a guest bath and has only been used a dozen or so times so I can speak to durability. It certainly seemed well built and solid.

it works but has a weird bug. We have it wired to a dimmer switch and if you turn on the light with the dimmer at 100% the lights flicker rapidly, enough to cause a headache

Exact replacement for a Magic Lite driver. These are magnetic transformers and can only be dimmed using MLV style Forward Phase (Leading Edge) Triac dimmers. Do your research before using just any dimmer otherwise your lights will flicker, the driver will overheat, burn up and fail.

This driver fixed the problem. Our under counter lights did not come on last week so my son quickly found the driver (24 volt) and wired it in. Problem solved without me having to hire an electrician.
