I bought this cord to just plug and play like the old days (00s) and it works perfectly. No static or skipping. Can easily play Spotify from my phone through my car speakers. Only downside is that my phone can't charge at the same time, but that is a Apple problem.

Cord is for my older car who's Bluetooth is a bit outdated and hard to get going on my newer iPhone. I bought this cord to just plug and play like the old days (00s) and it works perfectly. Piece of garbage, do not buy this product! I was so excited to be able to play music from my phone on my car's system! I opened the package, plugged the jack into the correct place, plugged other end into my iPhone, but sound came from phone not speakers. I unplugged from my phone, checked to make sure jack was plugged securely into car, then plugged back into my phone. It looked loose, I went to straighten it and it broke off right away, with the lightening end still stuck in my phone. Never able to use it even once.
