These reels are extremely durable and work fantastic. Still using my first set i bought a year ago. I use them 50 to a hundred tes a day. At least 6 days a week.

Very durable and well made! Had about a year now and no problems or complaints. Would buy again but probably won’t need to because they should last a while.

My husband is an EMT and it’s perfect for holding his keys/work IDs. He is the kind of guy that breaks things easily and this hasn’t snapped once. We’ve own this for 1.5 years now and it’s still going strong!

Definitely heavy duty, the retraction strength is really strong. I have a habit of spinning my work badge around by the string when I'm bored, and ended up breaking the string on a normal retractable badge holder. I don't see how that will be possible with thing, it's quite sturdy. The carabiner clip is of solid quality, the braided steel cable is strong but flexible, and the badge holder loop seems pretty durable. I removed the key ring because I don't need it. It dangles a little lower than a typical retractable badge holder, but I wear my badge on my waist (carabiner through the belt loop) and with this the bottom of the badge is right around where the bottom of a phone would be in your pocket. Due to its solid construction, it's slightly heavier than other badge holders, but not distractingly so (at least for wearing attached to the waist). Note: I wear my badge in a plastic sleeve, which results in it dangling slightly lower (a few cm) than if I looped it through the badge itself. The only downside is that it's just bulky enough that it would be awkward to wear on a lanyard, and the bottom of the badge falls below the belt for me when connected to a standard lanyard.

Had it one year with daily use. My husband loves it. Its very sturdy and heavy with great quality. Keeps cards safe from falling out. The design is sleek and handsome.

As a professional firefighter I want to know my equipment will stand up to the tough abuse that it will go through on the job. I decided to see how strong this retractable retractable keychain from Oaridey would be. I must say I am surprised at how strong it is. I started with a 20 lb dumbbell, the cable extended smoothly and easily as I lifted it off the ground and set it back down as it retracted. I increased the weight of the dumbbells 5 lbs at a time all the way up to 45 lbs with the same result. When I lifted the 50 lb dumbbell the cable snapped out of the spring loaded housing and the retractable keychain went into the trash. Will I ever try to hang anything even near 50 lbs on it? Not even close, but now I know what it’s limits are. It looks nice has a great fit and finish and retracts strongly and smoothly. I would definitely buy it again and will be using it as a badge holder. If your looking for a well built retractable keychain or badge holder then get one, you’ll be happy you did.

Kinda struggle to unclip it sometimes but other than that its really nice, been using it for a few years now and never had any issues definitely is quality built and worth the money.

I got these about a month ago and I gave one to a friend and we are both very satisfied, we use them constantly during the day and never had a problem yet, good product Just an added review: it been over a year since I bought them and neither my friend and myself have had any problems, we use ours a least three to four times in a day, very great product

Used to attach a hand cuff key to my patrol belt. Very well built and have seen a few scuffles and come out unscathed so very happy.
