Works as a replacement
Paid 150$ to program it through a locksmith and now I have a spare key. Dealership charges 600$ for a replacement fob.

Great product, worked for me, saved me several hundred dollars if I had to purchase from dealership, found a good locksmith to code it.

The car dealer would have charged me almost $300 for this key FOB. So this saved me lots of money and works perfectly.

IT IS NOT SELF PROGRAMABLE
EASE OF INSTILLATION I bought this knowing, as the promise promised, I could program it with the instructions. Went to the link and Honda is not programmable. I know it’s a HONDA profit mongering Honda person but I wish they just said that before the purchase. Otherwise it seems a solid piece of equipment. I’ll let you know after I work up the money to pay Honda to program it

New battery is a MUST
This remote works great but as others have pointed out, the battery is very weak. The registration failed for me on the first attempt but after replacing the battery, I was able to link the remote to my Civic. Throw a new 2032 in it before registration and you’ll have no problems.

Easily Programmed for 2020 civic sport, low battery
__Pros__ Value: 60% off dealer quoted price for second fob + programming fee + cutting emergency door key. Availability: dealer and ace hardware could order fob keys, but their fob was on back order with no availability date. Ease and price of programming: Batteries Plus Bulbs programmed in 15 min for $80. Key cut would be $40. __CONS__ Battery needed replacement. Maybe Remote start: remote start doesn’t work. We just bought this slightly used 2020 civic sport with one “Honda” fob. Neither the Honda fob’ nor this one’ s remote start button seem to work. As I learn the car more, I’ll hopefully find some setting.

Worked Great on our 2019 Honda Civic EX-L
If you buy this key fob you will also need to purchase a "Universal EZ Installer" to get this to pair with your car. I found the EZ Installer on Amazon for under $100. It took several tries to get everything to pair but once it worked I was even able to get the new replacement fob to remotely start the car. Works great! I have also read that you can take it to a locksmith or the dealership to get this new key fob to pair but I found the Installer to cheaper and more convenient.
