Absolutely brilliant fun. You will lose the balls, do what I did and buy more. These are so satisfying to use they're as much a gift for me as my son. They're strong, great value, look great, and provide hours of fun in the garden or the living room if my wife isn't looking. We've had these for many months now and they still function flawlessly. Occasionally, and I do mean very occasionally, a ball won't load right and another can get stuck behind it. There's a little sliding door at the breech so you can clear the jam no worries. You can even rack several balls in at once with the slide release feature... press a button and pump another round in... but I doubt that's recommended.It loses power per ball but gains an undodgeable effect at close range. A great purchase that I'm very happy with.

At the price paid for two, these are something of a bargain compared to the individual display box price, or at least they were when I bought them. Less expensive overall for two blasters plus extra rounds than for a single blaster in display box. I assume these are intended for bulk supply to venues or something, or perhaps factory refurbs - they arrived with both blasters fitted snugly in a single plain brown box (some XShot branding printed on the box but no colourful glossy graphics or fancy blister pack stuff). Also in the box, 100 extra rounds, and some sticker sheets. As I'd recently bought a chronograph, naturally I tested these, they turned in a creditable 80-90fps, so what with the balls weighing twice as much as NERF darts, they pack quite a punch compared with typical unmodified NERF blasters. The manufacturer suggests 100fps performance, and they don't seem to be far off that, obviously it varies somewhat from shot to shot. One of them inexplicably jammed shortly after arrival, there's a one-way ratcheting mechanism and various interlocks associated with the charging handle and it became firmly wedged. Aside from a boatload of screws, though, there's nothing to stop you dismantling it and resetting the jammed mechanism - I did this and it hasn't jammed since. While I had it apart I noted that the mechanism is quite well made and reasonably robust, and looks like not much trouble to fit upgrade springs or what have you. Obviously you need to be careful, when taking it apart, to note where and how everything fits, but nothing much springs out unexpectedly. The pretend optical sights on top do more or less allow you to aim at stuff, and while it's tempting to fit actual red-dot reflex sights to them, the basic accuracy of the blaster does not in any way warrant this. These blasters, like the NERF Rival ones, appear to have what amounts to a "hop-up" feature, where a small ridge inside the barrel at the top imparts a backspin to the ball, causing it to rise in flight improving aiming point over typical ranges. Overall, a fun product and excellent value at the price I paid. Recommended!

£30 for two blasters with 100 rounds is incredible value when compared to the competition (Nerf Rival). In the UK these blasters are the 100fps variant which hit a little hard for use in the house and should only be used by teenagers/adults with eye protection. Another pair of exceptional blasters for the collection.

Latest version of Orbit means it will fire all brands of round ammo , no issue.

One works fine, the other doesn't. It cocks/loads properly, and even makes a loud noise when firing, but there is no air compression and the ball doesn't fire. There's something loose inside, perhaps been sent someone else's return
