Works well and well built.
Fits Platinum pens and most Kuratake brush pens. Use with Platinum Carbon Black. Perfect.

Why can't Pilot do this?
Best converters I own, bar none. Why Pilot and Sailor seem unable to do this is beyond my scope of comprehension.

Been using these converters for over ten years ...
I still have the first one. Works great. I use them for Platinum 3776 Century, Plaisir, Prefounte, and Preppys. These are more expensive than the Preppy and the Prefounte - but the pen plus converter is still cheaper than a Lamy Safari without a converter. I still have my first ones from ten years ago. I just add more as I discover other ink colors I want in the rotation, or if I want to keep a pen stashed somewhere to jot a note. The pens work even weeks or months later. These are workhorses; easy to clean; no maintenance (maybe silicone grease once a year), and keep up with flow and capacity from <EF> (0.2 mm) through <M> stub (0.5 mm). Wider than that, I just switch to the Lamy Safari's 1.1 mm stub.

Works well
I needed an EF pen so I bought this converter to go with it. So far it has worked well. It was less expensive than the similar item in gold trim, and functionally there is no difference. I have only had it a short while so cannot comment on how well it lasts.

A little tricky to maneuver, but...
I love my Platinum Preppy(s) for every day writing. If they were a little wider in the body, they'd be perfect. Once I run out of the cartridge that was included, I pop my favorite inks into one of these converters, and voila! A well-made, but inexpensive fountain pen great for beginners, folks on a budget, and someone (like me) who like it's everyday appeal.

Works well, ink flows a bit easier than a regular cartridge
I wasn't exactly wanting to more than double the price of my cheap fountain pens, but I thought I would try it out. I'll probably expand my color selection with a few more of these, * It is much tidier to refill the pen than by using a diabetic needle refill a cartridge. * The ink seems to flow better with wetter strokes than with my refilled cartridges. * It seems to carry a bit more ink, since it fills without making air bubbles.

Get it
Doesn't leak. Good capacity lasts a while.

Fits and works perfectly.
Got this for my Platinum Preppy along with some Carbon Black ink and for over a year now have had no problems at all. Usually, I can't wait for the pen to run dry so I can fill it ...it's fun!
