My daughter has been skating for 5 years, and spends 10 hours minimum a week on the ice. She had been using the type of socks that are like the footed part of tights for a while, however the seam on those were very noticeable to her and would make her toes uncomfortable. So, I searched for seamless socks, and didn't find anything except these. These seemed close enough, and Edea seems like a brand that cares about comfort, so even though they were pricey, I ordered them to try. She ended up loving them, and has been using them for a year now. They were worth the price to not have to hear her complain about the seam. They are a thicker material than tights, and very soft, and also seem to be well made as they have lasted a long time. I bought 2 more pairs so she can still wear them when I need to wash some, and in case she misplaces a pair. I always air dry them, and these 3 pairs are still going strong after a year. She recently had a competition and didn't wear them since she was wearing footed tights, and she noticed the top of her foot hurt against the skate. I bought her ankle tights, so she can now wear her Edea socks at for competitions as well. Thanks Edea, for making comfortable socks!!!

best ice skating socks ever. We tried several for my daughter (10yr), these are first ones that she said are comfy, and she is not complaining of freezing toes at all.

I read somewhere that skaters should wear thin socks to get maximum feedback from the boot, so I bought these. I wear a 10.5 men's boot, and the large size of these socks is a snug fit. The material is thin and feels pretty close to wearing nothing. They do wick sweat well, and I have bought multiple pairs. Be careful washing them. Use cold water, delicate cycle, and air dry or line dry because they have some cotton. They barely reach the top of the boot, which works well for me but may not work well for you. These socks were just OK. My feet were sweaty when I finished skating. (I like Darn Tough Relay Micro Crew ultralight running socks better. They are very thin and have no cushion. The material keeps my feet at a good temperature, and I don't get sweaty feet.)

I'm not a fan of these. They're too loose and create friction with my boot. I wear Bunga pads over them, so you would think they'd stay in place. Guess I just prefer a knee-high sock that fits snug and doesn't slide around.

Great quality! My daughter loves them and they fit perfectly. Much better quality than other skating socks out there. I will purchase again.

she is US size 6 / 12 years old / Petite The size M is a perfect for her. Tight is too long for her and she has to pull her legging up to knee high and pull down... easy but troublesome . My daughter said... this is so soft and comfortable. She loves it. Amazon is the best price online. I will place order one more pair .

They are nice because they are pretty thin so they don’t bulk up inside my skates.
