Easy to replace, works well, fit was just like the one that came out my 79 chevy c10. Works great, would buy again.

I purchased the Standard Motor Products DS72T dimmer switch as a replacement for an older switch that was no longer working properly. I wanted something that would fit correctly and restore normal operation without having to modify anything, and this switch worked well for my application. The switch feels solid and appears to be well made. Installation was straightforward, the connections fit properly, and once everything was back together, the dimmer function worked as it should. It’s always nice when a replacement part installs without turning into a bigger project than expected. I’ve had good experiences with Standard Motor Products on other automotive repairs, so I felt comfortable using this part. For an older vehicle, it’s great that replacement components like this are still readily available and reasonably priced. Overall, the DS72T did exactly what I needed it to do. It fit properly, restored the function of the dimmer switch, and has worked reliably. I’m satisfied with the purchase and would use Standard Motor Products again for similar replacement parts.

Makes my lights bright, and makes them dim. Actually just makes them work. Old OEM switch finally died after 42 years, this switch is a bit different with the way the original connector plugs into the new switch. Just a bit of a gap between the plastic retainer and the actual switch.

Works great and well made. 90% of the time when you classic Chevy has no power out to head lamps this is the issue not the headlamp switch
