Buy these for the soles narrow in the toes
Ok I was worried. I read reviews saying these shoes ran small because they are narrow. My feet are medium narrow. I don't have to buy special shoes but I do have narrowish feet. Also these were on sale so I got the mens 6 when I usually go for a 5.5 (I'm usually a women's 7.5). When I first put them on I thought they felt big but once I laced up and stood up they were perfect so I think the narrowing is in the toe box region. Of you have bunyons or wide toes you're going to want to size up I think. Anyway I walk to the train to go to work everyday and my toes have been achey and angry lately. First thing I noticed was I experienced no pain on my walk or during my very active job. The extra bumper on the toe is helpful as a little extra protection when climbing around at my job. I am very pleased to find a shoe that hugs my foot like a glove (if you're narrowish too you're gonna love these) with a sole that feels so high quality that I don't think I need to by gel insoles now. Plus they look smart at work in that navy blue.

Great, lightweight alternative to my Doc Martens
I usually don't leave reviews, but I am so impressed with my Palladium boots! I was looking for something a little lighter than my trusty Doc Martens, and these boots have been an excellent alternative. They are a tiny bit short in the toes (err for a size up if you're in between), but not terribly mis-sized. I have somewhat impaired mobility due to plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and was initially worried that these boots would aggravate that. They have been great though- broke in quickly, and comfortable for walks around campus and with my dog. I'm looking forward to getting another pair of Palladiums in the future!

Old and New
Believe it or not both of these pairs of Palladiums are the same style, size, and even color! The old ones I've worn almost every day for two years. I'm a truck driver, and love these boots because my feet don't get too hot while driving (for hours and hours) in them. The new ones do have a few changes from the old mainly they have MUCH more padding in the foot bed. These boots do take a while to break in, but once they are they are extremely comfortable. I do not recommend these however to anyone that walks a lot on gravel. The soles tend to hold small stones, and on larger gravel/sharp rocks they do not have enough padding in soles (at least the old ones didn't, these new ones are probably much better, but I have not worn them enough yet to say for sure). Also on smooth and wet surfaces (such as polished concrete, tile, etc.) these boots are almost like wearing ice skates. They are great for hot/warm and dry weather. Only complaints I have with new pair so far (and this is very, very minor) I don't care for the white tag on the tongue, and the shoe laces are extremely thin and feel weak.

I’m buying more (5 months daily use)
So, what about these shoes? Well, I’ve worn them almost daily for the last 5 months. I’ve worn them walking, I’ve worn them working. I personally require insoles. I use the Blue Superfeet in these. My feet are on the flatter side, a little wider. I RARELY go over a 13. 13’s were a bit tight at the widest portions of the big and little toes. I was uncertain about these shoes. They’re WELL broken in now and don’t cause me any issues in those areas! They provide decent support when laced up which is nice. The difference in stability between loose lace and tied up is significant and tied laces make my ankle feel sure. I will say the tread wears pretty quickly. It’s SUPER deep at first and your shoes will grab a ton of big rocks between the treads. ANNOYING. The tread wears and this becomes slightly less common. They aren’t the warmest boot and they aren’t the most moisture resistant. Otherwise I’d say for the price this is an EXCELLENT boot. It’s SO hard to find a decent boot that feels secure, safe, and comfortable. My combo is palladium Originale with Blue Super feet. I love them myself. Be aware the size may be slightly smaller in the width of the toe.

NICE BOOT
I have another pair of ankle boots from Palladium. I decided to buy these because my friend has these and likes them. Decent quality. I think they will need to be broken in, since the canvas is really stiff. The shoe sole is comfortable out of the box. The build quality is decent, see picture. This green color is very military looking. My wife said they look like Army jungle boots. The shoe doesn't breath very much so it isn't really good as a winter or summer boot. I think this looks good with Jeans. If you want a fashionable boot this is good. Not a good hiking or winter boot. I have a Columbia boot that is great for winter and summer. This boot is good for city and hanging out. This is like a slightly more aggressive Chuck Taylor.

Happily surprised
I've been wearing combat boots for nearly two decades and though I don't believe these would be approved under AR 670-1, they'd fit the bill for my wants and needs in the field. The product was much better than expected. Pros: Zero break-in time, very comfortable, hug the foot around the arch very well, much lighter than I would have thought, sturdy with good footing and in a way they are stylish. Cons: I have only been able to find one as there is no break-in time and it's only found on one foot. As I have now two pairs, both purchased a week a part and the issue was the same for the same foot. This is very easily a possibly just me issue. At the opening of the boot on the right foot, when laced and tied, while walking it digs into my Achilles tendon and is a bit tight and uncomfortable. A quick fix was to loosen the already fairly loose laces, this led to the laces becoming more loose as I walked. Since, I roll my socks over themselves to make a cushion on both boots in that area and have had zero issue since. As I have said, I have now two pairs and will continue to purchase and wear these not only for work, but most days. I would recommend these to any.

Stylish and comfortable
These boots are great. I’ve known them to be of good quality, of the correct fit, stylish, and comfortable. I love them and know many who do also. They are durable, but note that these are canvas and not water resistant!

Customer Service leaves something to be desired
I purchased these boots to wear during my 2 month journey around Thailand. They worked as well as expected in the the extreme heat and humidity, but the black canvas did begin to fade. Upon my return home I sent a message to Palladium asking about the fading. They firmly said their boots don't fade which is not true as I see other reviews showing the fading. To my surprise they were rude, aggressive and accused me of cleaning them with bleach of all things. Cool boots. I bought another pair for my next trip. Just be careful of their horrifying Customer Service.
