It simple and works
I've order this stuff a few times. Soak it in soapy water prior to using. Take your time and be patient. Make sure to spray with high temp silicone spray once it's dried. It only comes with 6 metal zip ties per roll so do the math in how many you need. The first picture is how far one roll got with a 40 to 70% overlap. Second picture is less than 2 rolls and has a tape measure for size comparison.

Good 👍
Easy to install. Works nicely and keeps the heat from my pipes down. I overlapped about 1/4” to 1/2” to double up on heat reduction. I did order extra stainless cable ties, I went a little overboard with the cable ties, but I didn’t want to chance it coming off or unraveling. You definitely want the hi temp silicone spray to coat it afterwards. Oh, USE GLOVES AND WEAR A LONG SLEEVE SHIRT. Do the project in a well ventilated area.

Very good wrap! Read my comment for tips
Very good heat wrap and you get a lot of it! The color will turn white if you don't spray something on it. I've seen some reviews with people complaining about the color. I use Rust-Oleum ceramic high heat spray, the 2000 degree version. Cover the exhaust after it's wrapped in this. Let it dry, then install exhaust and let it bake for 30 min. Works like a charm. Months later and my wrap is still black and looks new. It's easier to use if you soak the roll in water before wrapping also

Worth the price
Had more than enough wrap for my headers, definitely recommend wearing gloves and a thick long sleeve. The metal zip ties were sufficient enough to hold the wraps in place. If I had to wrap another pair of headers I would rather use titanium wraps but overall can’t complain.

Should work well
Heavy duty exhaust wrap more than happy with this purchase. Have not installed it yet because of laziness don’t feel like pulling headers and exhaust right now. Just from feel alone it will reduce the heat coming through my floorboard though.

Get sealant spray too! Unless you like fiberglass in your skin.
Definitely get the spray sealer that can go on this wrap. Once dried the loose fiberglass is a thing. Also my exhaust seems to radiate heat even more. That being said it looks great. Once sealed the fibers getting everywhere isnt an issue.

Great product
A customer wanted to give his truck a different look, header wrap on the rock sliders (don’t worry, this truck won’t go off roading). All the negative reviews are from people who don’t know how to use the wrap. First thing, get a bucket of water, leave the wrap rolled up and drop it in the bucket for at least 30 minutes. This helps keep the glass dust down as well as makes it more flexible. When applying the wrap, it helps to have the item you’re wrapping in a stable vise or mounted to something solid (not the vehicle). When wrapping, overlap no less than 1/2 inch and keep it pulled tight! I used black stainless screw clamps to secure the wrap on my application, but the ties they provide would also work. Once the wrap is dry, heat treat it, I use a torch, it helps burn off the ends of the glass, as well as makes it more resistant to the elements. I also bought the spray to treat it to help maintain the color as well as protect the wrap (remember these won’t get hot, and are exposed to the elements). If you take your time, go through the websites to learn how to use this product, you’ll see that it’s a solid product. Lastly, make sure you’re wearing gloves and other protective gear if you don’t want to be itchy for a couple of days.
