Good Quality - Worked perfect
The quality of this 90° swivel fitting seems solid. This is a 3/8" brass female to male propane/natural gas fitting (straight non-tapered threads with male domed head & female inverted domed head). Worked perfectly for my application which was to add a 90° between the female propane regulator hose to my generators 3/8" male input connection. This fitting gave me the ability to angle the propane hose in the direction I needed very easily. No leaks or issues with the threads. Would buy again. Hope the pics and review helps...

works like a charm
I purchased this for my Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater. It's a perfect fit. I had a hose made to connect this fitting to a 20# propane tank. the hose I had made locally was $70. Once I got everything together (propane tank, hose, this 90 degree elbow and my heater) I re-read through all the instructions in the manual and realized there is a hose for about $40 here on Amazon. If you google "Camco LP Gas Hose with regulator 57703" you will find the hose. So all you need for that heater is the heater, this 90 Degree elbow connector with full swivel, the hose and a tank of propane. Wanted to mention that in case you were shopping for the same thing I'm using this for.

The connection to use.
The product description says it all. The Olympian comes with a straight factory fitting. Most users want to direct the propane hose 90* away from where the heater is mounted or sitting. This is the correct hose to heater connector. It's Camco, they have always offered quality products so buy with confidence that this will work great for you. You can't be too safe when it comes to propane. 5 satrs Richard

used this on a Westinghouse generator WGen18000DFc
I go this for a used this on a Westinghouse generator WGen18000DFc. I didn't like the way the original routed up and then back down. This works great and allows the hose to come straight out. I tested all of the fitting junctions for leaks. It sealed great.

Works fine but pricey
I use this to connect a braided steel line from my propane line at the house to a gas grill. It makes the braided steel line have a nice curved loop path close to house, which is the reason I bought it. Was easy to install and works fine. I do think it was a bit pricey but the cheapest that I could find.

Hi All. I have used these Connectors for many years now, with out so much as one problem. I have used them on a Mr Heater 9000 BTU Propane Heater, and also a Oly Wave #6 Propane Heater for the past 15 years, from one RV to a Class A Motor Home. This is a very well made, Heavy Duty Swivel Connector, that you will never have an issue wiht, or ever wear out. From Dan & Austin, ( My Yorkie ) We are Full-Timers, and True "Spirits of the Wind "

Great for using a cover
I bought a cover for the XP4400EH generator and with the propane inlet sticking straight out of the the unit, this cover did not fit very well and could not fit it into a narrow opening for storage. This swivel 90 degree flare fitting solved this problem. It took an incredible 2 minutes to install. Now the cover fits as if there were no hose attached and it slips into a skinny opening for storage. A thumbs UP from me "FANTASTIC"

Works great to provide a swivel 90 turn for 3/8" flared fittings
My natural gas generator has an inlet for natural has hose sticking out vertically from one of it's sides. When I would connect it to the natural gas line, the hose was sticking out too. This was dangerous for someone to trip and/or brake the natural gas line/hose/connection. I used this 90 degree elbow to direct the natural gas line downwards. It swivels only when the connection is loose, meaning you rotate it to the desired position and then tighten it. That locks it in place. I couldn't find any other 3/8" flared male to 3/8" flared female 90 degree elbow fitting in the market but thankfully this was just what I needed!

I eventually understood how this connector worked once I received it. Oddly enough I thought it was a swivel connector (silly me) which does not make much safe sense. This is a connector that enables you to choose the correct angle for the flex rubber gas line to exit your heater. If you have a normal fixed elbow, there is no way of adjusting the proper angle so your gas line hose can efficiently not be in the way of using the heater as a stand alone unit or if mounted into a wall you can adjust the elbow angle to fit into a narrow space. Without it the hose line comes out of heater and has to bend which adds about 9" of pipe bend to width and is always in the way. with elbow that is eliminated. Loosening off the elbow you can adjust for whatever you feel is a good angle. But once tightened this is a fixed angle. This is not a swivel gas elbow that moves around. So ya I think this is a good product.
