I use it for my 175 Tracker and that's all I need. I just hope it holds up as I noticed some of the parts are plastic and the part where you can adjust the height of the trolling motor does not hold it tight in place and the motor slips all of the way down to it's fullest length. It appears to be a design flaw as the silver finished rod is smooth and the holder can't grip it tightly to keep it in place. Otherwise, having it at full length still works for me. ### ⭐ Warranty and customer service *by B***E on June 6, 2024* This trolling motor was bought last year for more than $600.00 in May and used for only fishing season. As you can obviously see the lower motor was not assembled correctly and water seeped into the lower unit rusting& ceasing the armature and magnetic inside of it and is now unusable. There's no obvious damage to the outside of the unit, and as you can see the seals where starting to dry rot. I sent Customer service the pictures as they requested but are still requesting for me to take it to a authorized service provider which I tried to locate, but there are there none within 100 miles to me residence. All the Marina's around my area that are Mercury service qualified centers don't have time to work on trolling motors this time of year, or normally don't even provide service to these trolling motors. MotorGuide has been very difficult to deal with, & should provide me with another unit without hesitation!! I will be following up these comments after I get some advice on how to handle this moving forward.
