Picked up this junction box and I’m pretty happy with it. The price was cheap, but the quality is better than I expected. It feels sturdy and well made. Another plus is that it’s bigger than I thought it would be, which actually works out great since it gives me more room to work with inside. For the cost, it’s a solid buy.

I purchased this as a project box for an Inkbird PID controller with SSR relay and heat sink. Plenty of real estate inside for wiring and electronics, but not obscenely large. Mounted the PID and three switches on the front, two plugs on the back. Plenty of additional space if I needed to mount more things. Nice quality and the system holding the front and back together works well.

Is what it says, a project box that is weather tight until you put holes in it. there are mounting holes to screw it to the wall, and included plastic screws to secure the lid on the box. It is fairly thin plastic, so should be easy to drill or cut holes in to.

The design and construction of this product impressed me. Two things that I liked the most were the design of the 4 screws that hold the cover on. Also, even though I didn't notice this when ordering, you can install a back plane into the box. It has built in standoffs and two metal threaded inserts for attachment of the back plane. If I may suggest one thing that would bring this to perfection would be to include 2 metric machine screws for the back plane. Many of us in the US do not have metric machine screws on hand. In my case I ran a tap through and used SAE screws.
