Delicious, simple, ORGANIC. YUM.
These beans are a staple in my house. Every few days we cook up 3 cups of beans overnight in the crockpot. SO easy, plus beans are a great way to get your protein when combined with a grain such as corn tortillas, rice, etc. To top it off, these are organic! Fabulous!

Inedible Beans
First time ordering these. I have always overnight soaked for 12 hours and then cooked my black beans in a pressure cooker and they are always perfect. Until now. These are way undercooked(basically inedible) using that method so I added 7 extra minutes to the original 12 and it’s as if I didn’t add any extra time. I will be tossing these and never buying again. I do use other items from this brand without any issues.

Infested with tiny black bugs
Whenever I soak my beans, I see tiny little black critters (aphids?) trying to swim their way out of the pot. Does anyone have suggestions how to store black beans organically so these critters die/do not develop? Obviously the seller doesn't know.

Quality Black Beans
There are many brands of black beans but quality is important because you are eating beans instead of white rice which may not be healthy for diabetes. So, for that reason the beans I choose better be high in quality to get the most of it.

I didn’t eat them but they seem great
To be fair, I didn’t actually eat these (used for a sensory table for preschool) but they were packaged great and seemed high quality.
