Love this seasoning! I put it on just about everything, and it all tastes great!

Recently, I bought four different rubs that can be used for ribs, steaks, chicken, fish or pretty much any meat. I like all of them. But, Dan Os original seasoning was by far the most versitile. First of all, it does not have Salt as the first ingredient. In fact, there is just the right about of sea salt. There is a variety of herbs and spices that are fantastic. I tasted the rub the minute it arrived and I have to say, it is really delicious! Not too salty, not too sweet but it has Citrus peal, cumin, and other spices that will compliment any meat. Skip the SPG and just use Dan Os! It will make a great rub for your barbaques! For Ribs I prefer something a bit sweeter and Dan O's doesn't have brown sugar in it. But, if you use a sweet sauce with honey for finishing, I would still rub with Dan O's! Try it and you will see how good it is.

I’ve seen videos of Dan cooking on YouTube for a couple of years. Was curious about his spice blends, but couldn’t find them in the stores in my town and thought they were too pricey if ordered online. My local grocery started carrying some of the Dan-O’s seasonings four months ago and I finally got to try them. They are great. I used Dan-O’s Original on roasted chicken and was truly impressed with the higher level of deliciousness achieved. Since that first dish I have used Dan-O’s on many things. Original or Cheesoning takes a salad to new heights. I’ve enjoyed the Spicy on pork and mixed into burgers. Dan-O’s is now my spice blend go to and I’m always disappointed when I run out. I found it on Amazon and unlike my local grocery, I can buy it in larger sizes. The medium size is 8+ glorious ounces and a little less expensive than buying multiple small sizes from the store. Amazon also offers large, which is twenty ounces. It is a good value, but I don’t have the cabinet space to store it. Try Dan-O’s. I highly recommend it!!

I am now a Dano’s fan. Skeptical of most spice blends. This is fantastic on chicken and vegetables. Less salt too.

I do not dislike this seasoning, but I don’t think it’s very versatile. There is a strong sage presence and rosemary. I don’t dislike either, but many do. I would use it in stuffing, on chicken if desiring an herb flavor, sweet potatoes, and have used in shredded cauliflower with Romano sautéed. It is definitely NOT what I expected and would NOT use it in many things for sure! I’m not sure what all the hype is about honestly. I could put sage and a few other herbs for same result. Again, sage is the prominent flavor. I will not purchase again.

The flavor is powerful, so go lightly, until you get acquainted with it's intensity. Great product, I'm trying it on everything
