I bought the Mesa V2 for my grandson, and from the moment we got it out of the box, I was impressed. The design, build, and features show that nothing was skimped on, and when it comes to a grandchild, you want every safety measure in place. One of the standout features is the SmartSecure system. It uses auto-retracting LATCH connectors and a red-to-green tightness indicator. That indicator is gold for anyone who’s ever wondered if their installation is “just right.” It’s almost effortless to tell you’ve done it properly. The base installs solidly and securely, which gives me peace of mind every time we click him in. The seat also includes a robust infant insert that helps with fit and positioning for very small babies (roughly 4 to 11 pounds), which means he’s held snugly without any awkward gaps. The headrest is padded well, with side impact protection, and the materials all around feel high quality, soft, breathable, and apparently free from fire-retardant chemicals, which is a big plus. The UPF 25+ canopy is significantly larger than older versions, so it shields better from sun and light, something you notice especially when using it with the stroller. I purchased this as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law who were expecting their first child. I was very happy with the high quality of the product. The plastic chair/shell is very sturdy yet light weight. The fabric is soft and comfortable with ample protective padding. It is easy to install in the vehicle and just as easy to remove to use in the stroller. It's well worth the price to protect my new granddaughter.

If you’re looking for a safe and reliable car seat for your baby that’s not bulky look no further. It’s lightweight yet super sturdy. The cushions are padded and so soft for your little baby as well as the ease of having the little holes to put the metal adapter in while you put your baby in the seat vs others where you’re fighting to keep it just right. But the weight is honestly what sold me. Babies already weigh enough so having a light yet super safe seat is so nice. It’s so easy to just snap in and out of the base and even easier to set up.

Amazing car seat. Very easy to use and convenient to be able to pop it onto the stroller and go! It is slightly heavy but better than the smaller version because my baby fits well in it. Super easy to spot clean and the newborn insert can be washed in washing machine which is a plus!

Love this car seat, currently using on my newborn. Got this carseat since it fits with my uppababy stroller. Very easy to use & my baby seems to sleep comfortable. I would just say its a little heavier than I imagined but I am only 5’3” and 135 lbs. I would say the measurements are not where its too bulky but my newborn’s head does toss to the side a bit since you cant adjust that area. Im sure once shes a bit bigger, it will make a better fit. The sun visor part is great and comes down pretty far. All in all, I would purchase again.
