Aveeno Calm + Restore Redness Relief Moisturizing Cream, 1.7 oz

This really works!! I was having so much trouble with red bumpy inflamed, flaky dry facial skin. Its not instant, used it everyday for a week and a half and started noticing changes. Now, my face is cleared up, moisturized and not red! I used it every day. A little goes a long way too.

My skin has always been sensitive, but it has become increasingly sensitive with age (and also after having kids). I have tried SO many different moisturizers over the years — I can’t even tell you how many, but it could’ve been a part time job at one point. I ended up landing on a really expensive product that I got in a FabFitFun box that was awesome, and I was able to reorder at a discounted price from them for a couple years. Once I ended my FFF subscription, I couldn’t really afford to keep using those ridiculously expensive products so I had to start over and try something new. Fortunately this was the first thing I tried. I use a lot of other Aveeno products so I felt like there was a good chance their moisturizer wouldn’t bother my skin, and it didn’t. To be honest, I have been pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of this moisturizer. It’s not quite as amazing as the expensive stuff I had been using, but it’s pretty darn close. It works really well for my skin. It thoroughly moisturizes my face and neck area, without leaving me oily, which is a hard ask in the arid climate of Colorado. It doesn’t have the best smell, but it’s pretty mild and not off-putting at all. I don’t know if it dramatically improves the redness of my face (it helps some though), but it doesn’t make it worse — which is actually a problem with a lot of other moisturizers. I’ve been using the redness relief and the regular calm + restore gel moisturizer for several months now and I plan to stick with them. I definitely recommend either of them if you have sensitive skin, and this one if you have issues with redness like me.

I’m almost 70y/o. Prior to my hair going white I had strawberry blonde hair. What I’m saying here is I am very fair skinned. I have rosacea. Fair skin shows the redness of rosacea like nobody’s business. I have tried everything OTC as well as products provided by dermatologist. Nothing helped. I have started using this product and I notice an improvement after only a few days. I’m using all of the Aveeno calm and restore products: face wash, serum, SPF 30 daily moisturizer and this product. The product was the final addition to my regimen. I don’t use them at once of course. I use this product after I wash my face in the evening. Even one of my neighbors commented that my skin is looking nice. I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Works at first First time tried this my face loved it! It was amazing and made my redness go down. However, when I bought my 2nd cream my face does not love it anymore! It burns my skin now and makes my face more red. I'm so sad it stopped working for me

Works wonders the best I have found so far I have not needed to look any further.does not leave grease residue behind.

Aveeno Calm+Restore is helping me with the redness and dryness that comes with having rosacea. I have been using this product for about two weeks for my face and chest area. The redness and bumps have calmed down a lot. My face doesn't look as dry. This cream is very soothing when applying. It is not greasy and my skin looks better. I use it under my makeup. It does not have a strong smell and it is easy to apply.

I have mixed feelings. It hasnt necessary improved redness but it moisturizes. Definitely be careful if you're and prone

At first the lotion was burning when I put it on right after I washed my face. So i started waiting about ten minutes and there is no burning. It has helped with the redness on my face. No greasy feel and it absorbs right away. I did just buy a second bottle.

Great for a red sensitive skin and non greasy feeling.

Bought this for my rosacea. It doesn’t clear the redness completely but does tone it down. I use it twice a day. It is a very good moisturiser, soaks in well, leaving my skin soft and smooth
