So happy with camera
One thing I noticed with my camera the boot time is like nine seconds so the updates they’ve done obviously took care of that. Really happy with it. The only thing that is an issue is battery life. I just bought a few extra batteries to take care of that problem. The video quality is amazing very sharp very impressive. Looks 4K to me extremely happy buy it you’ll be happy!

Lab testing should have been done
Not ready for prime time. While I'm sure these would work, for the occasional social media post, or to catch a selfie, but the battery life, and heating issues (with screen off, and battery saver on) prohibit this camera from much else. Not worth the moola

Very impressive 3D video but battery ruins it
This really is like an adult View Master. It is so much fun and the video quality is really incredible for 3d. I was going to view the video on my old Samsung Gear headset but alas, my old Note 8 phone that goes in the headset is crashing so that's a no go. Would be nice to have more ways to view this video other than the small viewer this comes with and without having to buy the Meta VR headset. Right now this is totally just an expensive hobby for tech geeks. Unfortunately the extremely short battery life makes it difficult for real world use. No way 30 minutes is enough and the constant battery dying out is obnoxious even if you had spare batteries (though they are cheap to buy $20). Difficult to justify spending so much when it takes so much effort to use and view.

Does not purport to do what it is advertised to do!
I was looking for a camera that would give me 3D image files of pictures I would take. This camera only gives me 2D jpg pictures and is worthless to me. I do 3D woodworking and need a 3D file in order to convert the file to a stl file. I can't do this and have a 3 dimensional outcome with this camera

Now with auto focus!
The camera I received had the 2.x firmware version on it. With that firmware, i'd rate it 4 out of 5. The main complaint was bright adjust and no auto focus. However, with the 3.x firmware update, which was super easy to install, It gets a firm 5 stars! No, it's not a high dollar camera but for the price it outperforms my expectations by miles! The clip on viewer is really cool but to truly see what this camera can do, a VR headset is a must have. Photos are great memory tools but if you take your time and get to know your camera, you can virtually re-live events with this thing. I wish I'd had it for my kids weddings but I do have it now to grab snippets of my grandkids growing up. I love it! ** Updated Comment: You know what would make this thing really fun? If someone would offer an inexpensive way to print the pictures to a film 3D viewer so you could share them low-tech with family members! A View-Finder style print of grandkids sitting on the coffee table or sent to distant relatives would make it really fun. If phone makers can make millions printing photo books, why can't you print these for novelty?

Super cool camera
Don’t expect everything from this guy. It’s entry level, it’ll overheat in the sun, and it’s okayish resolution, but being able to rewatch memories on quality 3d straight from the camera is something that can’t be understood until you see it and pass it around the room. It has the vibe of those old picture slide cameras from childhood, and it makes you feel like that same child too.

Fun to play with, but nothing more.
Qoocam Ego is a fun camera, but nothing professional and not very versatile. It's is fun to take photos and 1080p videos with friends and family. The view finder adapter is good to view your shots in 3D. The camera does not feel finished, but Qoocam has made updates to it. Pros: - Fun to take 3D photos and videos. - Small and easy to carry. - Adapter view finder makes it easy to view. - Easy to post to social media via app. - water proof. Cons: - Photos and video are adequate, but sub-par. - Need a 3D device to share ( eg. VR goggles) - Slow to shoot and battery does not last long. - Parallax not as profound. - No auto focus and needs to be pointed straight ( defocuses when looking down or up). - For the price better getting 4k action camera.

Fun camera
Fun to use, still have to down load the app to perform updates. But reminds me of the old school viewfinders.
