My town charges for over consumption. I've been monitoring for 13 years... at the outdoor meter. This does the trick. So simple to install. No real need for the very expensive iPhone capability unless it is important to you. If you wish, the new unit displays to a remote counter through a small 2 conductor wire to wherever you like. It displays ACCURATELY how many gallons have passed through the water meter. The Amazon DAE CO-10 Electronic Pulse Counter or any other Pulse counter will work with this. I already had a tiny EKM Metering remote. It registers the gallons perfectly Really, you do not need to use the remote function. The display at the meter is clear and easy to read.
