I’ve been using this kit for my ovulation and pregnancy tests for the past 8 months we’ve been TTC. Everything works fine but I’m seriously starting to question the BBT. For a few mornings in a row this week I couldn’t remember what my temp was (doesn't have a backlight and your old temp only shows for a few seconds), so I retested and came out lower than I thought. Anytime I would need to double check my temp, it was always .14 degrees lower than my first reading, which seems pretty extreme. As of this morning I’ve just ordered a new one. I have a feeling the operational time should only be abut 3 months on the thermometer! As long as it’s actually been working right for the past few cycles, this has been able to confirm when I ovulated which is helpful to know as someone with PCOS.

Easy to use. Highly recommend to track all three: LH (twice, 10-2pm), BBT (first thing in the morning) and cervical mucus. The app works well, free version is good enough. After ovulation, test PdG to confirm that ovulation happened. PdG strips are expensive so I would recommend to start testing about 3 days after ovulation. Once positive, I don’t think you need to continue testing.

For the longest time my wife and I have assumed that we were unable to have children because no matter how hard we tried it never happened. A few months back however she wound up pregnant but unfortunately miscarried 6 weeks in. This was obviously extremely difficult but at the same time it proved to us that we could get pregnant. I purchased this kit just a few days after the miscarriage and my wife began using them every day so that we'd know when she begins ovulating again. About a month later it showed an LH spike and the app informed us that she had a great chance to get pregnant. So the birds and the bees took flight and 2 weeks later we're pregnant again!! This kit did EXACTLY what it advertises! The app is great for the most part but can get a little confusing with multiple different places to upload your test strip with little clarification on the app as to what each category is used for. This was frustrating because we were uploading them in the wrong place for about a week and had to transfer them all. But once transfered it was great! The app measures your LH and HCG based on a line on the test strip that it compares to a second control line. The darker the line the higher the level. This is great in theory but gets really inconsistent at times when uploading the pictures. Things like the brightness in the room, the blurriness of the picture, and how far from the strip you are when you take the picture all effect how it compares the lines. You can take 3 different pictures of the same strip and get 3 entirely different results. This was also aggravating at first but really wasn't an issue because of how obvious the differences were to the naked eye. When we saw the strip with LH spike we knew right away before ever even uploading it. It was clearly darker than every other test we had done so the app really wasn't even needed for determining it. The app is really good however at telling you where you're at in your cycle and what days are most optimal if trying to conceive! Overall I highly recommend the kit for anyone trying to conceive! Just be aware that the app takes some getting used to but don't stress because the test with the LH spike that signals ovulation will be very clearly different from all the other non ovulating tests you had done prior. I am 34yo, and me and my husband tried it for the first time TTC and right now we are 7months prego! It works wonders detecting ‘THE’ most fertile window for you. Every body and period cycles are different. There are chances when you would expect the lines to grow darker but keep would say trying baby dance at the very moment (couple of times) is certainly helpful. Don’t wait for hours to pass assuming it will to higher or darker. You never know when it starts to fade reducing the chances of conceiving. Keep trying as soon as you see those 2bars good enough. Like on my 12th day, 1.04 was showing low initially but then it found another high 1.61 changing the former to high as well. That’s it after this it started dipping next morning itself to 0.73. Must say don’t exhaust your partner running behind this. I have heard instances where they keep trying multiple times in an hour or so. But that’s really stressful for both the bodies. A calm state of mind and reasonable intimacy is so important here. Soon after we tried I started tracking on the hcg strips. I was anxious to know if it worked or not. I started tracking after 10dpo on the hcg strips (you might go crazy testing it so order more of these separately). I could see light double lines. 16dpo dark 18dpo darkest! It was it for us. It was there (teary eyes). I know this journey is really tough for some of us here but trust me it happens when it has to happen. Our body works wonders and can be magical in its own way.
