Works with small engines!. NOT REALLY! I bought this to troubleshoot a single cylinder pull start generator. I could not get it to work. After trying it on other small engines I concluded that it works on small ELECTRIC START engines. Pull start engines will not light the tester. For all my electric start engines it worked well.

I bought this for my husband and he said it worked perfectly. Super straightforward to use and helped him quickly figure out which plug was misfiring. Nice solid little tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to.
