Not with this item, which totally impressed me right off the bat.The construction is super high quality, no frays or cracks on the edging. (you can feel the quality in the materials used, from the thickness of the mat to the intricate stitching that goes along the border of the entire pad)It's easy to clean and dust off, either take a microfiber towel and dust it off, or use a lint brush. The stitching is tight and extremely well done. It has a non-slip rubber grip on the underside, which means no tripping over a flimsy mouse pad while in the midst of gaming.It's a lot longer than what I thought, (silly me I should have measured it out from the dimensions listed on the listing) but that's a good thing being that every mouse pad I've used in the past has come up short.The first place I tested it out was on the bed. I use my laptop quite often there and my mouse catches on the comforter. My mouse of choice is the Logitech MX Master. The great thing about it being extra long is that if you need it shortened for any reason, all ya gotta do is fold it. Which I did on the bed, the tracking is so fast I lost track of where the mouse on the screen was. It is far more comfortable using a mouse on the surface of this pad rather than any other surface because it eases pressure on your wrist. You may not notice it, but when you use the mouse on a bed your wrist flexes a lot due to the sheets and other highs and lows of the bed itself. This mat gives you a proper base while operating the mouse.Again I have to say, that the padding on this is so essential, it makes a big difference on one's wrist as opposed to a hard surface.I then set it up on the desk, with this stretched out I will not be running out of track space anytime soon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Solid product at a great price *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2018* There are a few pads close in size to this for a bit less money (the Havit offering was something I considered along with this), but after reading some reviews decided to spend the extra $5-8 and I am not disappointed. I had an XL pad before but intentionally purchase one that was a little less long and more narrow because of my old desk. Now I have a 59" Ikea Linnmon table which has room to spare and this pad covers from the edge to my "monitor stand" (an Xbox 360). With a TKL keyboard a little left of center I have a solid 18+" in width a significantly more in height to use my mouse, so no more bumping the stitching like I did on my old XL.The quality on this pad is solid, especially for the price. It is a tad bit smoother than my old XL which I believe was one of the generics you find here or on eBay and the like just with a logo stamped onto it. That pad certainly wasn't awful given it only cost me $13 but I appreciate the slightly better surface here. The stitching is also a bit nicer (despite mine having a loose thread when it arrived, nothing a blade or scissors can't fix). The logo seems to be well printed but I haven't washed this pad yet to test that. Mine didn't have as bad of a rubber smell as some claimed, and the included printout warns you it may have an odor that will dissipate after it airs out for a day or 2. It also has washing instructions, and came with a sticker if that's your thing.Overall super impressed, great price for a great item and really nice to see they put their money into making pads and not ridiculous, unnecessary packaging. Very minor. the edges have a thick bead. rubbery non sli[p on back, and semi wetsuit material, seems a tighter thread on top. mouse glides.. Ive done a bit of research on TONS of mousepads and reviews, and took a gamble on this.
