I was a little apprehensive to order this go katt but it is solid. My 9 year old daughter is having a blast with it. Well built machine

Bought this 6 months ago for the 7 yr old grand kid. I selected this model for its size and safety features. The roll cage and the 5 point seatbelt because things happen. The seatbelts were tested with a crash into a small tree. The chain/sprocket are all covered. The adjustable throttle is a plus. It is faster than battery powered toys. The biggest plus is gas powered. IT WILL RUN ALL DAY ON A TANK OF GAS. No more dead battery ! ! It is not an ATV but it is great on dirt and grass. It has a low center of gravity and is stable in turns. A bit expensive but it appears durable and will last longer than plastic battery toys. Happy so far!

Be prepared to inject an extra $500-$1000 into this go-kart AFTER purchase. I bought it brand new and have had to replace the following in less than 30 months (moderate drive time): 1) Brake cable 2) Throttle cable 2) ENGINE 3) Rear axle 4) Secondary mounting plate. Additionally, the drive chain flies off bc the motor will sway out of square from the mount and loosen tension. My kids use this go kart in our flat, back yard. Beyond taking the governor off for speed, the kart has not experienced any off roading or rough terrain. I use ethanol free fuel, check/change oil, and apply chain lubricant often. The amount of time and money I’ve put into this kart has made it my most frustrating purchase. I’m not saying you’ll have the same issues, but I’d buy a cheaper, non-trailmaster model and not roll the dice. Especially if you have minimal mechanical knowledge. Happy karting.
