Very late week to Carrie and saved us the annoyance of mosquitoes and gnats. We don’t like to use bug repellent if we can avoid it. This product helped. I did not use it on a recent backpacking trip, but my son loved it. I’m so glad I had it and will continue to take it with me in the future.

This is the second mosquito net I’ve purchased from this company - my dogs had a party with the first one and destroyed it. These are the BEST nets I’ve ever used and I’m from Alaska so that’s saying ALOT. They are made of a soft but very sturdy fine net that keeps even tiny knats out. I work outside after dark wearing one with a headlamp and the bugs swarm the light but are stopped by the netting. The net is generous and fits over my hat or ball cap and still covers my neck and sits on my shoulders keeping any bugs from slipping under. You can also see well though it. It’s my new favorite piece of outdoor and gardening kit. Don’t dither - just buy this one.

It even has a bottom string and thingajig which allows you to adjust the tightness around the neck as loos ot snug. It is large enough to go over your head and hat, and not restrict. It is loose enough, very light weight and it comes with a little sack for storage and keeping it saf and clean. It even comes with own bug resist chemical on it, built in it, but it is odorless, I could not smell a thing. I love it.

I work outside and have to sit or stand still many times and kept getting annoyed by the bugs. I saw someone with one of these and thought to try it out. I do not regret this purchase. When i leave the building i put this over my wide brim bush hat, snug up the elastic and enjoy a bug free job. Yes i do get a ton of giggles from people as i look a bit like a beekeeper looking for my hive but i never have to be annoyed by any bug ever (at least around my head). The only down side i have with this product (but not enough of a problem to remove a star) is that due to the nature of the tight netting it does block the breeze so you do get warmer inside than without. It does not block all wind but light breeze is blocked. Another bonus with this product is that it is a dark material so it does add a bit of shade. I like that it fits well over my hat so I dont have to have the net right on my face. There is a smell when first used but it does lessen over time. It is probably the bug killer infused in the net.
