A Must-Have for Smooth Lock Operation!
I picked up the Lucky Line Graphite Dry Lock Lubricant Powder to fix a sticky lock on my front door, and it worked like a charm. The 4.5-gram bottle is compact but contains more than enough powder to last through multiple uses. A little bit goes a long way! The application is super easy—just a quick puff of powder into the lock, and within seconds, the key turns smoothly. No more struggling or jamming! What I love about this product is that it doesn’t leave any messy oil residue like liquid lubricants do, so there’s no risk of attracting dirt or gunk that could cause future problems. This graphite lubricant is perfect not only for door locks but also for padlocks, car locks, or any mechanism that needs to stay free-moving. I’ve even used it on some older keys that weren’t gliding smoothly in the lock, and it made a noticeable difference. If you’re dealing with stubborn locks, the Lucky Line Graphite Powder is an inexpensive, effective fix. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to extend the life of their locks and make key-turning effortless!

The Secret Weapon for Pinewood Derby Dominance!
If you are a parent involved in Cub Scouts or any amateur racing hobby that requires a dry, slick lubricant, this Lucky Line Graphite Powder is an absolute game-changer. While it's marketed for locks, its true magic lies in optimizing Pinewood Derby car performance. We used this lubricant on our son's derby car axles, and the results were incredible. The graphite powder is ultra-fine and applies easily with minimal mess (a quick puff is all you need). It dramatically reduces friction, allowing the wheels to spin with unprecedented freedom and speed. Our car was noticeably faster and quieter on the track compared to previous years when we relied on less effective options. This lubricant does exactly what it promises, creating an incredibly slick, dry surface that doesn't gum up or attract dirt. It's an absolute must-have for any serious Pinewood Derby competitor looking for a competitive edge. Skip the messy oils and go straight for the gold with this graphite powder—it works perfectly. Highly recommended!

Yep, it's graphite
A little messy but this stuff works on my car locks. A little goes a long way and clean up can be comical if you're not careful with the tube.

Best For Sticky Locks
You know how frustrating it is when you stick your key into the lock on your door and it doesn't want to turn easily? You risk bending or even breaking the key if you try to force it. Well, this fixes that problem. It's worked for years and years, and it continues to work. It's simple, easy, and cheap. What's not to like?

This stuff really worked for me
My car key was sticking in the ignition. After using this in the starter the key easily slides in and out.

Garbage/ Scam/ Con
Didn't even think to read reviews for a $5 tube of graphite powder before buying. How can anyone screw that up? Now I see that others have drawn the same conclusion. For one, it's not powder, more like flakes. Too coarse to even come out of the tube, much less get it into a tight space like a keyed lock. Only consolation is AMZ refunded without return. Cut a bigger hole in the tube and you could use it for something, maybe? Still won't be able to use it for its stated purpose (a lock), unless you disassemble.

Brilliant!
Our front door lock was practically eating the dang key; it was very difficult to remove the key. We thought we’d have to get new lock. A neighbor told me about graphite…..brilliant. I was about to use the silicone I use on garage doors but thank god I read that is wrong thing to do. This graphite cost $4. A quick cheap fix. After reading it can be a little messy, I put key on paper towel, puffed once and then did 2 in door lock. After a couple uses, it’s working beautifully!

This works by puffing, shake it first, then hold it up right for the large graphite dust to settle then downards and squeeze the tube multiple times. Be careful of the dust, it's worse than ink when cleaning.
