I have been drinking Puroast House Blend for awhile and absolutely love it. I recently submitted a large order for the coffee. When it arrived the taste was different and not good. I contacted them and they responded in minutes to say they are shipping a replacement order. Fantastic customer service and it motivated me to sign up on their website for a subscription to the coffee that I like.

An interesting coffee experience. To me it tastes marvelous; very smooth, easy on my stomach. But weirdly, it doesn’t smell very nice when brewing. Sort of like dirty socks or a cheap cigar. I cannot reconcile the dichotomy. Just something to be aware of.

I purchased this Puroast Low Acid House Blend coffee based on a recommendation from a friend. I had high hopes for its low acid qualities and great taste for myself and my senior mom who suffer from acid reflux. When opening the package I noticed an unusual odor. Strong, burnt, dirty smell. I brewed 2 cups using a keurig machine. The coffee was terrible. Then I made a 10 cup pot following the recommended 2T per cup. The coffee was very dark. The taste was burnt, washed out and bitter. Tried again using 1.5T and it was no better. My mom brewed 4 cups and couldn’t drink it. I gave package to my friend who enjoys Puroast. She made a pot and immediately noticed a difference in smell and taste. Compared to a bag of the same coffee she had, this bag was NOT of the quality she has experienced with the brand. Reading other reviews, I also must say there is a quality problem with Puroast production. I was hoping for a great cup of low acid coffee. After several taste tests of this bag of coffee by myself and others, it is not one that I would purchase again or recommend.

I have acid reflux and refuse to give up on coffee so I’ve been drinking this one for almost a year. As long as I don’t go over 2 cups per day I don’t have any issues. Taste is good. My only complaint is the packaging. We’re paying $25 a bag for coffee people, please redesign your bag so the seal stays closed and our coffee quality isn’t constantly affected by air. The little plastic track is too cheaply made, it comes apart immediately. First time they put this on the bag I thought it was just a bad bag, but since all bags have been like that.

This coffee is a favorite of mine for helping with stomach acid reflux plus interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome). I also like the decaf, but I haven't been able to find it, so I hope the seller can sell it, too, someday.

Taste just like regular coffee minus the acid. The grind is a little finer than most but who cares

Terrific. Great flavour. I sought this out as wanted something that would not curdle my almond milk. The great flavour, and knowing this is low-acid and so better for my stomach is all a bonus. Highly recommended. The large packets are the best value. I decant smaller portions into a jar to keep in the fridge, to avoid opening the main packet too often and potentially losing flavour.

I suffer from horrible acid reflux so I searched for a good coffee that was low acid. I was excited to give this one a try but honestly, haven’t noticed any difference in acid levels. Might just be me being overly sensitive, who knows. Flavour is really nice and smooth. Would I buy it again? Not for the $70 I paid for it but hey! It was worth a try!! Thanks for a nice coffee!

This is still somewhat bitter and does not taste like coffee. It is so bad that we cannot drink it.
