Works great and provides peace of mind
I questioned if these things were just a cash grab, but after reading an article in an insurance industry publication, that talked about an emerging trend with car thieves, where someone stops you in a parking lot to chat you up, ask for directions or some seemingly innocent conversation, and while in close proximity to you, they use a concealed device to copy and save your fob signal. Once you’ve long since walked away they steal your vehicle. This Faraday pouch seemed a small price to pay peace of mind. The doors/trunk do not open when the fob is in the pouch - the vehicle cannot receive the signal even when standing directly next to it. I’m hoping this stands to be the same for the scammers using the scanning devices.

Overall better than no protection
So these seem to work well but are little bulkier than I wanted. Wish they made a more fitted case. Storage capacity for the size of my 2014 ford fusion FIB fits a bit snug but I do have a silicone case on it. Without a case over the FIB it fits fine. I just didn’t want anything bigger as it takes up space in my purse. Overall its fine so far, well made.
