First impression before unpacking was that the winder was a lot heavier than expected which was immediately suggestive of decent quality, and this was further reinforced by close inspection of the unpacked winder. The winder may not be constructed with expensive, premium materials but was nontheless very well put together and very much looked the part. The provided "pillow" has only two sizes which for my watch was too big and too small and I managed to add the supplied polishing cloth to the smaller size to make a snug fit. After inserting a couple of fresh AA duracells the winder worked perfectly. However, the winder only ran for a few hours before the batteries were exhausted, so use of the supplied mains adapter is essential.
