I warm it up in the microwave for 20 seconds then I add the salt packet and I have medication. Just shake it up and lean over the sink. Squeeze 1/2 in each nare. Then I lean my head over the sink and tilt my head side to side to get the solution out. It stops the drainage from your throat and helps with that nasty taste and breathe you get form allergy drainage. Warming the water a bit and using the salt packets prevents burning in nares. And using regularly truly does help. Trust me. The bottle is good quality plastic it last forever I usually buy a new one every 6-8 months because of infections I get but if you are just using this for allergies and keep it clean turn it over after use to dry it will last along time.
