Very cute! And Seller is very kind and helpful
Edit 03/31/2025: seller provided a refund. I probably received a defective one. The pros of this are that it is very bright and fun. It also does look realistic. I bought it originally for my cat, but even though he wasn’t interested in it, I personally was! It was fun to have it on my window sill. I think it would be fun to have in an office or something like that too. It’s also bright, and again, it *does* look pretty realistic. It’s a pretty fun little thing to have - I suggest it!!! Especially since the seller is very kind and supportive :)

Cute Small Entertaining Fish Tank
So far, this little tank has been a hit with my 18mo old grandson! I finally got around to filling it, and followed the directions precisely. Distilled water -check. Plug in & turn on. Wait a minute then add 2 drops liquid dish detergent (Dawn) -check. Wait 30sec then add fish -check. The motor is really quiet. (I’m not using batteries, and it says not to put them in while plugged in.) The only noticeable sound is when the fish “noses” hit the side of the tank. It’s not loud or annoying to me. For what this is, it’s pretty cute. I selected one of the 2 enclosed background pictures and pulled out the back bottom edge slightly to get the picture to slide down in place. (Grandchild claimed the other “ish” picture.) The fish tend to congregate on the bottom left corner, across from the little tiny air ducts that stir up the water and force them to move. After the water had time to mix more with the dish soap, the fish became more active. They take turns heading for the middle of the tank, sometimes forward, sometimes backwards, before going back to bump into the left side of the tank and starting over. The fish are teensy (or tee-nite-see as I heard growing up) .. maybe a hair over my thumbnail. It’s low maintenance this far. It says to change water once it’s dirty, but I’m not sure how that will happen or how long it takes to become dirty? Oh well, the fish are hardy and don’t eat much (nothing!), so no worries about floaters. (I don’t flush ‘em, but the thought crossed my mind.. “floaters or flushers” ha!

Disappointed!
I had bought a similar one to this years ago and loved it. When I saw an almost identical version, I was so excited to get it! I am very disappointed. The tank leaks slightly from near the top, so I couldn’t fill it as high as I would like. The motor speed keeps turning on and off (almost rhythmically). At first I thought it was pretty cool, but now I notice the motor straight-up stops working every now and then and only fixes when turned off and back on. AND one of the fish is dead: it won’t stop floating no matter how hard I try to get it to swim around. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!

Probably the Best Value available
originally a got a $7 artificial jellyfish tank for my cats to watch. not surprisingly, it barely worked. so, I accepted that I'd have to spend more and purchased this one. it still seems small for $20, but I guess that's the lowest price you can pay for one of these things if you want one that actually functions. anyway, it's bright and the colors are fun. the fish move a lot. there's a stopper, then the lid goes on, so we've had no issues with leaking. you can hear the fish hit the sides sometimes but it's very quiet. my cats are not very interested in it... I would need to get them a larger one for them to notice it and pay attention. but otherwise it works well and it's cheaper than similar options out there.

Very lifelike and easy to maintain
This is the perfect little artificial aquarium!!! It is a bit smaller than I expected but just the right size! The little fish are propeled around the tank by a mini air pump, making the fish look like they're actually swimming. The background is a high quality picture and looks like an actual underwater coral reef! The little LED lights are cheery and just the right amount of light. My mom has begging stage dementia and was so upset that she couldn't care for live fish. I bought this for her for Valentine's Day and she is so very happy! I would definitely recommend this for a child's first fish tank or people with dementia as there's no care that is so easy to set up and maintain I'm very likely.

so cute, just wish it were bigger.
not that it's a bad size. it fits quite cozily into a tiny space between my monitor and speakers. it's just that now that i know i love it, i want one that's bigger that i can decorate like a real fish tank. the brass tacks: Approximate sizes from- left to right= 6 1/2in (17cm), front to back= 2 1/2in (6 1/2cm), top to bottom= 4 1/2in (11cm). comes with two realistic photo backgrounds on glossy thick-ish photo paper that appears to be water Resistant. they can be slipped into the edge of the base with the cap holding the top against the outside. also has three tiny fishes that can Just fit through the small hole for water to go in. (the ones i got were two "Nemos" and a little blue version of the same. i don't know if these are random or if All sets are the same.) should be noted that it has three tiny LED light; red, blue and green. they can Not be shut off separately from the thing itself. so if you want to see the fishies swim, you have to be okay with however many lumens these lil buggers put out at the same time. though if you wanted them for a night light, i suppose it would be okay. i just would have liked to have the option of turning off the light part when it's not really dark enough for it to be really much of an added feature. but, eh, i still like it. and my furry kids are Obsessed with it. so really, i can take what few negatives it has.

Bought it for the cats but I enjoy it well worth the cost.
I bought this for my cats, they ignore it. I love it. It is very small but it fits perfectly on the table with other peaceful decorative items.I find it very comforting and peaceful. Since it is under my tv I mute the commercials relax watching the fish and pretty lights. It's great that it works with both AA batteries and and electric cord. I am really enjoying it.

Muy cara para el tamaño y calidad
Se rompió en la misma semana de compra. Se cayó de una superficie cercana al piso y no resistió . No la volvería a comprar
