I was immediately impressed with this Dalstrong paring knife set! The packaging was amazing and really gave it a premium feel. Each knife came razor sharp right out of the box, ready to use, the knives are beautifuly made. I love that they each have their own blade protectors—such a thoughtful detail for both safety and storage. The handles feel solid and comfortable, the length of the blade and handles are excellent, perfect weight and the quality is clear in every detail. Well worth the cost, and I’ll definitely be looking into other high-quality knives from Dalstrong in the future.

Got a good deal and thought I would really just using the paring knife frequently. But as it turns out, each of the 3 blades comes in handy. The birds beak is great for fruits and jalapeños. The serrated is great for coring. Really good set and high quality materials and construction.

The Gladiator Series Paring Knife Set, like all the other Dalstrong Knives that I own, are amazing! There's a blade for every possible paring need. The 2.75 inch Bird's Beak , with it's curved blade, is outstanding at peeling apples, potatoes and mangos. It's also great for intricate cuts, when creating decorative fruit or vegetable garnishes. The 3.5 inch Serrated blade is great on tougher skin fruits & veggies, or even dried meats. As well as, fruits or veggies with a soft interior, like tomatoes. It's also perfect for slicing rolls, baguettes, or petit loaves of bread. The 3.75 Sheep's Foot is for peeling, coring or mincing. It works, exceptionally well, on garlic and herbs. I also found it to be perfect for scoring a ham, and the top of a cherry pie. As with all the Dalstrong Gladiator Series, these knives are high quality and gorgeous! If your looking for a wonderful set of paring knives, these are it!

All three knives feel good in your hand. All three knives were really sharp right out of the box. I am in the process of replacing my 25 year old set of knives with a more update and modern look. So far I have no issues with the three knife set. I use them daily to prepare a morning bowl of fruit and for pealing vegetables for meal time prep. The only thing to be aware of is the bolster extending down to the heel of the blade. While this feature does protect your fingers from a possible cut it does present a minor inconvenience if you use a wet stone for keeping your blade sharp. Overall I recommend this set and try to buy the set when it is on sale.

Could not find a decent paring knife as a single. The drop point and hawk bill are perfect for almost any close fitting chores. Handles are sturdy and attractive and should last us from now on. Well worth the price. will last well

They’re kitchen knives

I want to say, if you never had a "good " set of knives, you really need to invest the money and get a good set. This is my first set, that is not just a few dollars and it is so well worth it. First, when you get the box, it is like opening an expensive box of chocolates. Really really nice. I totally love those . I cut some grape tomatoes and the cut was clean and went though like butter without squishing the tomato. I am in awe. These are really awesome and a dream to have, if you use a lot of knives . I was always more ripping through meat or veggies , but not anymore . I didn`t know, that cutting could be so easy .

I love this 3 piece Gladiator Series knife set. It has all the knives that I use daily. I already had my favorite paring knife and bird's beak knife in another brand but after using these a few times, these are my new favorites. They are so sharp that it is easy to do precision cuts and thin slices. I have used them to peel and slice potatoes (even very hard sweet potatoes) with ease. They glide through softer items such as tomatoes like butter. My husband uses our old bird's beak knife when he's in the kitchen now I will have to introduce him to the new Dalstrong bird's beak, he will absolutely love it. I am slowly collecting all of the Dalstrong Gladiators Series and love everyone of them. If there are any problems or questions, Dalstrong's customer service is fabulous. I highly recommend Dalstrong to anyone that wants great knives without paying an outrageous price for them.

absolutes muss

So blunt, took me ages to get an edge on them, not good for a brand new item. Spent ages on them to get them okay on my Shapstone Whetstones, had to start them off on 320grit, then 500, then 1000, 3000, 8000 as was sooo damn blunt, and even after all that, I am very unhappy with them, if they put as much effort into the blades as they do in the packaging and sheaths, they would be an excellent set, but I have knives that cost less than 10 dollars that are sharper than these, even after wasting all that time on them. Never would I buy this brand again!!!!!! Even for home use, I don't like them at all. Will have another go at sharpening them, when I have not looked at them for a couple of days, as at the moment I just see them as a total waste of money being for a pretty box with a stupid pin and polishing cloth and 3 very poor knives indeed.

Goes well with my other Dalstrong knives; very sharp, very nimble in the hand, easy to clean. Curved knife's sheath keeps falling off. I think it's Kydex, so heating it in hot water and remolding it to the knife should fix that. I haven't bothered yet since we don't use it that much. It was just a good deal to get all three rather than just one of them at a time as needed.

Amazing product, love these, they feel so good in your hands and are sharp as heck. Would buy these again and again. That little pairing - carving knife is awesome.
