Recently purchased these to calibrate my reloading scales. I checked to see if the values were correct on each weight. All weights were precise except the 1gr was .98gr. Otherwise, I highly recommend them, and you won’t beat the price for such a nice and complete set.

Accurate desciption

I like the accuracy of the weights, the excellent storage case, and the tweezers for handling weights without transferring skin oil. I’m very happy with this purchase that allows me to validate the accuracy of my scale and to store the weights.

Good weights—accurate—storage case needs redesigned however—-smallest weights fall out

I really like the little case the weights are in -- doesn't take much space to store and keeps them very accessible. I checked the weights on my new SearchPean scale -- readings on the scale were exactly the same as the weights. I also checked the weights on my older kitchen digital scale -- all checked 1 gram short. The 1 gram weight on the scale showed 0. As a result of my unscientific testing l feel the weights are exactly as marked.

These are very reasonably priced calibration weights. Even so I was expecting a bit better finish even though tho goal is precise weight rather than looking fancy. Precision finish is a sign of quality control and can help keep the weights from getting dirty or corroded to keep them accurate. These were listed as being chrome plated steel, which seemed like a bit of an odd choice since they would likely have to be machined to exact weight, and the chrome plating would be compromised. Well, as you can see, they drill a hole in the bottom and fill it with what appears to lead to get the exact weight rather than machining, but you can see the chrome plating flaking off. Dunno if it is really lead, but it it is I'm kind of annoyed since I don't want lead anywhere near the scales I'm checking. Overall, these will probably do, but the poor finish doesn't inspire trust in their precision. I don't have a set o of traceable weights to check them with so I'm not really sure what I'll do with these.

Poids bien calibrés

I am very happy with this calibrated weight set. I weighed all weights on a newish 500 g electronic scale I own. The 1g, both 2g, 5 g, 10g, 20g and 50 g were all perfect to two decimal places. The 100 g measured at 100.01 on this 500 g scale. I also weighed all the weights on a 15 year old 2,000 g kitchen scale. This 2kg scale couldn't weigh the 1g and 2g accurately but all the others were bang on. So I would say that indicated all the calibarted weights are accurate (and my scales too). The case that the weights come in is solid and compact. I 100% recommend this product.

Acheté pour une classe de primaire. Utilisé avec une balance car les poids vendus avec la balance n'étaient pas assez précis. Convient parfaitement à un usage fréquent. Boîte bien pensée avec le rangement pour la pince sur le dessous, qui évite de la perdre.
